Stolen Car?
Malcom is an accountant for his wife florist business, but as the story
unfolds he finds his wife is not who he once thought she was.
Short Synopsis
(This can be a little more detailed and give away the plot)
• Malcolm is our main character, he is an accountant, working mainly for his wife’s florist business. His marriage is so-and-so, his wife is
always in meetings with ‘suppliers’ – he is always in dark office of florist working on the accounts. Some numbers don’t always add up,
Veronica dismisses his questions
• Police come by their home, very suspicious of Malcolm and his wife’s business. Asking a lot of questions, very vague.
• Malcolm, concerned, goes to question wife but she is gone. Has ghosted him. He searches for her at the Florist office.
• He finds cases of money hidden, and boxes of paperwork. These weren’t here before? Paperwork shows evidence of money laundering,
everything has his name on as accountant.
• Panic sets in, something is wrong with business, he doesn’t have all the answers. Loads boxes up into car and takes them to forest to
bury them in case police come by business office.
• As he’s burying the false evidence, he realizes he doesn’t know his wife at all. She’s not answering his phone calls.
• Police meet Malcolm as he is coming home, covered in dirt. They take him in for questioning.
• Whilst in the room being questioned, he is left alone (this is a tactic by the police, they watch him, not sure if he is involved), he sees big
evidence file left on table. Sees photos of his wife, and articles but all different names. She’s led so many different lives. She’s done this
before.
• Malcolm is shown to come into the back of the florist business as Veronica and other people are loading up a van. He confronts her,
says he knows she is trying to frame him. She admits she used him and says she had to, to get away, the police were catching onto the
Florist front.
• Police sirens can be heard approaching, assuming they are coming for Malcolm. Veronica is relaxed, assured in her mind that she has
done enough to convince everyone it was all her husband. Police arrest Veronica. Malcolm was wearing a wire.
• The police having been convinced Malcolm was unaware of the truth of his wife’s identity, employ him to gather final evidence needed.
Her confession recorded through the wire. Malcolm is free. He knows the truth.
• Malcolm is back at the business office, but it is no longer a Florist. He has now started a new career as a PI helping others find the truth.
