CANVAS The initial investment outlay is projected at BDT 20,000,000 for the proposed business all of which would
be invested in buying machineries and equipment. The required amount is going to be financed by the
promoters of the company and angel investors. The planned breakeven is anticipated to be reached at Year
5 of the operation to recover the initial investment, however the business model will take a bit more time
than 5 years to recover the other fixed overheads it paid for in its earlier years. To finance its working
capital, a funded facility of BDT 5 million will be arranged from a local bank. 10% of the breakeven sales
volume is expected to be achieved in Year 1 and is expected to grow by 5% every year till Year 5. The
planned cost & revenue along with the breakeven calculation is given below:
