 AE is easier to learn as it has simpler grammar

Cons of the American English adoption:
AE adoption will cause conflicts in the UK,
1 Australia, New Zealand etc. as they have their own varieties of English.

AE doesn`t have unique regional words, e.g.

2 Australian weather conditions.

England – is the Motherland of English,

3 AE adoption will undermine its authority.
 My personal opinion:
AE is the language of military men, workers
and prisoners, who have conquered a foreign
land and killed its native people. Their
language is too colloquial to be official for the
whole English-speaking world.
