Life in Moscow
Andrey Doronichev was born 1983 in
Moscow’s poorest urban “Medvedkovo”.
He was so poor, that he used to wake up at
4 A.M. and help his father. At the age of 19,
he started his first startup, called Tapok.ru,
it became very successful, and Andrey
earned a lot. His future became brighter, so
he went to Prague, to set off a new
business.
Fail at Prague
His business idea was unsuccessful. Andrey lost
all of his money, he invested in startup. He had
to feed his family, so Andrey started finding a
new job, wherever it was. He found. The job
was connected to mobile phones, he was
experienced developer in this field, so he went
to Dublin, Ireland to work for a company called
“Google”;
A new career
Andrey was very enthusiastic about his new life.
He worked too hard, and finally the CEO of
Google, Larry Page noticed him, so Andrey was
rising up and moved to London, where he
started working on the biggest project in his life
– Youtube Application for mobile phones. As the
first Aplication was written for Nokia, it was very
ugly as Andrey says.
Great success
When Youtube application reached 1 000 000
views, Andrey and his friends were celebrating
in the bar, Andrey promised to his friends to
take them to Hawaii, if the application Reaches
One billion views. In 2019, he took them to >
Hawaii. Today, mobile version has more views,
than computer version. If not this person, I
could not make this presentation, because all
interviews he gave were free to watch on
YouTube.
