Read the text. What’s strange about the photo on Sarah’s

camera. Who might have taken it?
It was October, and three friends were on a walking holiday in the Lake District. It was seven o’clock in the evening
and starting to get dark. They needed somewhere to spend the night. Jim looked at the map. “There’s nowhere
within two hours’ walk of here”, he said.
“Let’s camp in this field then,” suggested Sarah.
“Good idea,” agreed Chris, sitting down the grass. “I’m exhausted. Can I have something to eat?”
“What do you want?” Sarah asked.
“I don’t mind. Anything!” replied Chris. “I’ve had nothing since breakfast.” Then he turned round. “That’s strange. I
thought I heard somebody.”
“No, there’s no one around here,” said Sarah; “Just us. Maybe you heard a rabbit.” An hour later, everybody was just
asleep inside the tent.
The next morning, as Chris was making tea, Sarah came out of the tent looking confused. “Did anyone touch my
camera last night?” she asked.
Kim and Chris shook their heads. “Is anything wrong?” asked Jim.
Sarah didn’t say anything - she just held out the camera so everyone could see the picture. It showed all three
friends fast asleep in their sleeping bags.
Nobody said anything for a few moments. Then Sarah started packing her bag. “It’s time to go,” she said.
“Where?” asked Jim.
“Anywhere,” replied Sarah. “Let’s just grab everything and go!”

That was a cold and stormy night. Everybody / anybody went to bed earlier than
usual, but I decided to stay in the living room reading my new novel about mystery.
Suddenly, something / nothing happened in the kitchen, I heard a strange noise. I
stood up and went rapidly to see what was happening. I couldn’t see anything /
