• Societies change as time passes, and many of the societies
undergo are experienced as upheavals, crises or challengers.
People have devised various ways of dealing with social,
political, and cultural change through involvement and
collective action.
• Inclusive Citizenship
Citizenship refers to the legal status of an individual in a particular state that
allows him or her to enjoy certain rights and protection. Citizens are
beneficiaries of social welfare programs and other public services, and
guaranteed protection from internal and external threats.
• Inclusive development 
Inclusive development is a “development that includes. marginalized people,
sectors and countries in social, political and economic processes for
increased human. well-being, social and environmental sustainability, and.
Empowerment”
• Participatory governance
Overview. Participation is commonly defined as the act of taking part in
some action. Participatory democracy is primarily concerned with ensuring
that citizens are afforded an opportunity to participate or otherwise be
involved in decision making on matters that affect their lives. Puts emphasis
on democratic engagement through the deepening of citizen participation in
the governmental process
• Social Media
Refers to technologies, platforms, and services that enable individuals to
engage in communication from one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-
many. Any digital tool that allows users to quickly create and share content
with the public.
• Social Networking
Platform that allows people to create and maintain online personal and
business relationships. the use of Internet-based social media sites to stay
connected with friends, family, colleagues, customers, or clients. Social
networking can have a social purpose, a business purpose, or both, through
sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, among others.
• Social Movements
Are loosely organized but sustained campaign in support of a social goal.
hey are large informal groupings of individuals or organizations that focus
on specific political or social issues. In other words, they carry out, resist or
undo a social change.
• Reform Movements
Focus in reform of social customs and traditions. reform movement is a type
of social movement that aims to bring a social or political system closer to
the community's ideal.
• Radical movements
Aimed toward changing certain value systems within societies through
fundamental means. "alternative to the right-left paradigm".
• Emergence
First stage of a movement when people become aware of a problem and
begin to notice that others feel the same way.
• Coalescence
Second stage when groups reach out to other groups and individuals to
increase membership.
• Bureaucratization
Third stage when the movement becomes a political force. To divide an
administrative agency or office into bureaus. to increase the number of
government or business bureaus. to cause to become bureaucratic or to
resemble a bureaucracy to bureaucratize a city's social services.
• Decline
Final stage when the organization finally completes its goal or is dismissed
as irrelevant.
