MAIN
The main purpose of this study is to investigate electrolytes
present in
sports drinks like Gatorade, freshly squeezed orange juice,
Homemade
rehydration drink, Tap Water, and Distilled Water. Also, in
this experiment, the researcher wants to show that Gatorade

Scope and
Limitation
This study will be done at home.
The limitations of this report is it only
uses three trials to see if there is a difference between
each test. Also, the cost analysis of the materials is
not included. The experiment will not go beyond
further studies.

concentration of electrolyte or have more electrolyte among all thebeverages tested specifically
the scientfically beverage which is Gatorade. Thus, the objectives set was accomplished but the
second objective was incorrect because the homemade rehydration drink and freshly squeezed
orange have moreelectrolytes than Gatorade even though there is no advertisement
regardingelectrolytes coming from the other types of drinks.
Recommendation
If this experiment were to be conducted in the future, freshly
squeezed fruit juices will also be tested to determine which one
has the highest electrolyte concentration and also how they
compare with the electrolyte concentration of the store brought
fruit juices and sports drinks. Even in calculating the
conductance, we would like to recommend changing the battery
halfway through the experiment to make sure that there was no
error in the readings.
