 Conditional Sentence Type 0
• If + Simple Present, Simple Present
( If S+V1+O, S+V1+O )

Example : If the rain comes, the grass wets

If people eat too much, they get fat
 Conditional Sentence Type 1
• If + Simple Present, Present Future
( If + S+V1+O , S+will+V1+O )

Example: If you study hard every day, you will get the first rank
She will buy the dress if her mother gives her money
If we are diligent, we will be success
 Conditional Sentence Type 2
• If + Simple Past, Past Future
If + S + V2 + O, S + would + V1 + O

Example: If I found her house, I would turn her book back

If he finished his job, he would go for holiday
If I were bird, I would fly around the world
 Conditional Sentence Type 3
• If + Past Perfect, Future Perfect
If + S + had + V3 + O, S + would have +V3 + O

Example: If I had studied harder, I would have gotten a better job

I wouldn’t have gotten an accident if I had driven my car carefully
I would have studied in ITB if I had passed the SBMPTN
If they had been here, they would have gone to Mecca
