IMPORTANT ISSUES:
This semester students will have 58 class hours. This is 2 weekly
sessions of two hours each.
If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late, they will be marked
“absent” for that hour, and the teacher will not let him/her into the
class.  This student must wait for the next hour of class.
The use of mobile phones is strictly for academic activities.
Students are not allowed to eat or drink anything (except water) in
class.
IMPORTANT ISSUES:
Students must not miss more than 22 hours (40%) of class to pass the
course.  There are no justified absences. (Reglamento 1206, Art 23).
English should be used in class to communicate with the teacher, and
for communication between students.
Students are expected to be respectful at all times of their teacher and
classmates.
Academic honesty is expected. Plagiarism will be penalized.
(Reglamento 2421, Art 3).
IMPORTANT ISSUES:
Students must check the SIDWEB on a daily basis to comply with the
assignments
Practical hour activities can be activities done in class, in the
laboratory, through SIDWEB, and/or the Cambridge platform
Conversation club sessions are strongly recommended for students
who need or want to improve their speaking skill. The teacher may
give some credit for attending minimum five (5) sessions each term.
Academic Writin Center sessions are also recommended for
students who need or want to improve their speaking skill.
