• Our bodies are gifts from Allah, and we will be held accountable for how we use
them.

• Furthermore, a Muslim should be able to defend him or herself from aggression


(which requires physical strength).

• For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has said :

• The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the
weak believer, while there is good in both. (Reported by Muslim)
OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME

 The objective of the game is for one team to defeat their


opponents by scoring more points than them in each set.

 Players attempt to defeat their opponents by throwing the ball into


the opposition half, hoping that the other team will fail to return it,
scoring them a point.

 To improve sport’s skills, health and fitness.

 To develop cooperation, discipline and sportsmanship.

 To develop mental strength.

BASIC SKILLS
FAULTS
 Players should catch the ball with both hands, otherwise it is
considered as foul.
 During the service, the ball should not touch the net.
 Players cannot touch the net during the play, otherwise it is
considered as foul.
 Clash: 2 players cannot catch the ball simultaneously,
otherwise it is considered as foul.
 Any ball falling on the neutral zone is a foul, and the opponent
will get the point and will get to serve.
 Player is not allowed to enter the neutral zone.
REFREE HAND SIGNALS
METHOD OF SCORING

• A team scores a point by:


• Successfully grounding the ball on the opponent’s court.
• When the opponent touches the box line or the neutral zone.
• When the service ball touches the net.
• When the opponent fails to send the ball at shoulder level.
• When the ball goes out of court, passes under the net, or touches an object
outside the court.
• When the server takes more than five (5) seconds for service after the
game commences.
• When the opponent team receives a penalty or warning.
CONCLUSION

• The players must follow all the fair play rules


and sports regulations in order to keep the
game sportsmanlike.
