• Cotton thread in one color


(approximately 70 grams)

• Crochet hook 2.25 mm in size


(also labeled B/1)

• Synthetic stuffing
• Safety eyes 6 mm in size
• Ball-head pins
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

ABBREVIATIONS

• Rnd: round
• ch: chain stitch

• hdc: half double crochet
• sl st: slip stitch
• dc: double crochet
• *...*: work everything between the asterisks in the same stitch

just made. This will be the beginning of Rnd 36.

made. This will be the beginning of Rnd 17.
Rnd 17: 4sc, inc, 8sc, inc, 9sc, dec, 8sc, dec, 4sc (40) In this round, you should have a total of 40
stitches even though you only made 39sc because the dec you marked in Rnd 16 counts as the first
stitch in this round.
Rnd 18: 27sc, 8hdc, 5sc (40)

Cut the thread, leaving it long enough to be able to sew it onto the back piece, and remove
the stitch marker from the round.

The front piece is finished.

PLACING THE EYES

The eyes should be placed on the front piece, so take your piece and count 10 rounds,
starting from the beginning and working your way back. The eyes should be placed between
Round 10 and 11 and aligned with the center of the initial MR.

Cut the thread, leaving it long enough to be able to attach it to the body with a few stitches.
It’s important for you to know that you can crochet the tail in other ways by varying the number
of stitches. It’s the most versatile piece that offers the most freedom.
