Brief explanation about the chosen topic

 Macedonia is still far from its goal of recycling 60% of the waste. In order to meet the national
goals, which are particularly high, we need investments in infrastructure, in recycling containers
and in raising public awareness and educating the people about recycling and the benefits that
come with it.
 With todays presentation we want to raise recycling awareness at home but also in our
surrounding environment. We want to find useful and practical ways to recycle garbage and help
with the climate change.
1. Higher the prices of the
plastic bags so people stray
away from using them.

2. Introducing selective
garbage bins around the
neighbourhoods making
recycling easier.
What can we do as Individuals

• Cut the food waste

• Stop burning plastic and other waste materials that emit
high amounts of CO2
• Build a community of climate minded individuals
What Can the Government
do

• Stimulate people to recycle

• Improve education
• Give subsidies and stimulate people to buy
electric cars
• Improve public transportation
