General Idea
◦ With the current state of car workshops, repairs, and car part retailing, the process can be very jarring. Having to research
about car parts, personally bringing the car in a workshop , and an overall very very long process. The ServItNow perspective
follows the idea of convenience, we strive to create a more uncomplicated and effortless process for all the car needs our
clients might request, making it easier for people to solve their car problems.
◦ ServItNow is an application-based car workshop that operates under a more digitalized, and cloud-based service. We provide
two options to out clients. Firstly, the clients could personally request one of our mechanics to come to the client’s house and
resolve any problems there (with out own prepared kit). Secondly, a booking feature is offered for clients who would rather
not queue in real time. And yes, all of this is accessible from an application. Not to mention, we have a digital store ready with
a well-stocked inventory of car parts and scraps with personalized delivery to our client’s homes.
◦ Our purpose of this business model is to take a more modern approach to the workshop business, rather than a traditional one.
Using an online format in providing our services will benefit us in terms of efficiency as well as be seen as a more desirable
and easy choice to their problems.
Project Value
◦ Better = For our “Better” factor, we believe that ServItNow should be safer in terms of keeping our clients safe at home during
the pandemic or in general (With other reasons to stay home), as well as the skills presented in our mechanics when requesting
a repair, etc.
◦ Do More = We would like to create a networking of partnerships with well-known car part brands to offer higher quality
inventory for our clients. Creating several advertisements to promote and entice customers towards our application and service
as well as the products of our partners.
◦ Faster = Our booking system for queuing in a designated car workshop of ours or the requesting of a mechanic for a repair at
your house promotes the “Faster” aspect, this speeds our operation and deadline while maintaining efficiency.
◦ Cheaper = We will integrate a token system in our application where a loyal or regular customer would gain tokens the more
times they use our application. This could be traded for promos, vouchers, or package deals.
MOV
◦ Scope: Our scope is to achieve the most basic functionality on our application through some of our features. Registration
should be available with a strong database that will maintain simplicity. The “come to you house” service should also be
established with a strong communication method. And finally, our online retail store should be prepared with enough stock to
always provide any potential clients.
◦ Quality: All our mechanics will undergo a strong training routine that will increase the quality of the personal side of our
mechanic as well as the work done.
◦ Schedule: We want to achieve full operation in the first few months of our project. In the first weeks we would promote our
brand name through advertisements and connections while training our newly mechanics at the same time. By 1 month, all the
financial requirements, training, and inventory should be either ready or on their way. The application creation will take place
a few months prior to the preparation stage.
◦ Budget: Our budget includes cost of hiring mechanics, advertisements, and buying car parts or tools in bulk. Buying in bulk
should reduce our cost of production and increase profits.
Summarize the MOV
◦ Financial: This project will be successful if we could display a profit yield of at least %5 in the first 4 months of our project
release with a constant stream of customers on a day to day basis. We would also like to maintain an accessible and sufficient
number of stock for our digital store (Retailing car parts).
◦ Customer: We would like to maintain a good flow of customers with around 6-8 customers a week. We would also strive for a
good review ratio for our application and satisfied customers.
◦ Operational Status: Our goal is to retain a strong operation standard with no mistakes or problems after one month of our
release.
