PARAGRAPH ANALYSIS
My Live in the United States
My life in the United States is tiring. There are many reasons why my life in the
United States is tiring. First of all, there are so many things I have to do before my day
is over. I get up early in the morning everyday Monday to Friday at about 6.00 A.M.
help my junior brothers get ready for school. After that, I take shower and eat my
breakfast. At about 9.00 A.M, I catch a bus to school. My bus ride to school is about
an hour, and some days, I feel so tired that I even sleep in the bus. I spend four hours
in school, then do the same routine of bus ride back home. At home, I do some
cleaning, help my brothers with their homework and prepare the meal for everyone
in the house. Then after that, I do my homework or do some reading before it is my
bedtime. In fact, my whole day is so tiring that I always set my alarm clock every night
in order to get up early the next day.

PARAGRAPH ANALYSIS EXERCISE
My friend, Yu is hard working. He works in a restaurant. He works seven days
a week. Everyday, he comes to the restaurant at 10.30 A.M. even though the
restaurant opens at 11.00 A.M. What does he do? He prepares the food and
does anything he can. Sometimes when the other workers can’t come to work,
he helps do their jobs. Everyday when the workers take turns to eat lunch, he is
always the last to eat lunch. Sometimes when the restaurant has some special
orders before business time, he will come to help even though that is not his
job. When the restaurant closes, he helps to clean up. Yu likes to work. He is
diligent employee.
