• Its color is Brown but three
African species that are generally
gray in color stand apart from the
typical members of this group.
Distribution
Falcons are widely distributed on all continents of the world
except Antarctica.
Speed
• Its speed is 390 km/h.
• Adult falcons have thin, tapered wings,
which enable them to fly at high speed
and change direction rapidly. Fledgling
falcons, in their first year of flying, have
longer flight feathers, which make their
configuration more like that of a
general-purpose bird such as a 
broad-wing. This makes flying easier

Diet
The most common prey for falcons is other birds. In fact, other birds
make up 77% to 99% of their diet. Birds eaten include mourning
doves, pigeons, shorebirds, waterfowl, ptarmigan, grouse, and
relatives, and smaller songbirds.
