Glo-Go Ball
Company
Presented by the Zuc Design Group
• We, the Zuc Design Group (led by Zaw and Phuc), are tasked
on creating alternative designs on the Glo-Go Ball’s packaging.
• We designed these alternatives for the original design is known
for rolling out of the shelf when put into display, hence, we
used flat-surface rectangular boxes as the company requested.

Calculation
1 ball Volume of the Cylinder
1 x 6cm = 6cm V = πr2h
V = π(3)2 × (48)
V = 1357.168
V = 1357cm3
Net
Volume of Empty Space
V = Cylinder − 8 Balls
V= 1357cm3 −

Surface Area of Rectangle
SA = 2(LH+LW+HW)
SA = 2((12 × 12) + (12 × 12) + (12 × 12))
2 balls SA = 2(144 + 144 + 144)

We believe Model 1 will replace the Original Design, due to it having one of the least Packaging amount,
compact size, and because of its cheap cost in packaging.
