MY TRANSITION PLAN

GAP YEAR 

• After high school I plan to take a gap year to work full time to save
up for university. My plan is to stay at the job I'm working at right
now which is Browns Social House, work their part time on
weekends or at night, then get a full-time job during the week
 MAIN GOALS 

I want to have $10,000 saved up To get valid work experience  Learn more about myself and
for school by August 2023 explore things I'm interested in

• Job description: This position includes
answering calls, booking patient
appointments as well as hospital
MEDICAL OFFICE appointments, showing patients to exam
ASSISTANT rooms, faxing, filing, and other
responsibilities as they are needed
• Schedule: 8, hour shifts Monday to Friday 
• Salary: $20.00 per hour 
• Benefits: on-site parking

• $15.00 per hour
• 10 hours per week
• $600 every month
• TOTAL: $3,000 
Township 
• 20$ an hour
• 40 hours per week
• 1,600 gross pay
• 1,200 net pay
• 2,400$ every month

• Room and board: $500 

• Car insurance: $325
• Gas: $250
• Phone: $100
• Entertainment: $300
• Clothes: $200
• Toiletries: $100
IN TOTAL THAT WILL

$1,775 EVERY MONTH 
I plan to save $1,000 every month to go towards
my education

If I’m making $3,000 a month and only having MY SAVINGS

to spend 1,775 that still leaves me with $1,225 PLAN 

Plenty of money to still save $1,000 a month and

it still leaves me with an extra $225 so then
spend on entertainment or continue to save
