WHY I 'AM TAKING A GAP YEAR  
I want to take a break from school because I was not allowed to get
a job until I graduated high school. Working and earning money
would give me new responsibilities and give me a chance to learn in
a different environment. The money I earn would be used to save for
a car and my school tuition after my gap year 
AFTER MY GAP YEAR I WILL GO TO
KPU 
• I would go to KUP after my gap year and study Marketing
Management. Because I would like to be a Marketing Manager for
my own company or for another company and I would like too now.
How some stores like Costco, IKEA... etc. Are so successful but there
just big warehouses. And I want to learn about why stores pump in
fresh CO2 and nice smelling sense and warm air to make people
buy things.  I would like to learn about taxes, mortgages, income tax
and tax right off. 
The job I will try to get
during my gap year 
• Stocker at Costco Wholesale I would be
restocking the shelves, moving around all the
endcaps, and restocking the Endcap. And if I
finished stocking, go to the front and pack for
the cashiers I would work 5 days a week and
that would be 30 hours of work. I would make
$2,346 monthly before taxes after taxes is 1,994
and I would make $28,152 yearly before taxes
after taxes is 23,929. 
MY MONTHLY EXPENSES

• groceries is $60 per week, $260 per month,

phone bill $ 90 per month, yearly is 1,080,
clothing 300 per month  car payment  2015

MY SAVINGS PLAN 

• I would put a lot of the money I make in a

savings account and make money off the
interest and then use the money to pay for
school after my gap year. Also, I would use the
money to buy a car and insurance for the car,
but I will not have to pay rent at home since I
will be saving money for school.
