4/19-23 Kindergarten Hello, Minion Families!
Roundup for incoming K
Our class is working hard in the 4th quarter already. This
4/19 – DRA (Reading Level) week, students will begin their End of Year (EOY) DRA
Assessments begin testing. These cold-reads will test both students accuracy
and comprehension. Please encourage students to get to
4/28 Fire Drill scheduled bed early enough to get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy
breakfast (or arrive by 8 to enjoy a free CHAMPs Café
5/3 – 5/7 STAR Reading and meal), and to try their very best. These assessments will go
Math Testing into May, so we want to make sure we’re well-rested each
day.
5/14 – DRA Test ends
Our class is in need of glue sticks and snacks. I swear these
5/19 – Fire Drill scheduled things grow legs and walk out of our door.  Just kidding!
These supplies do go quick though. Thank you to the
following families for already donating in the last couple
weeks: Charlee, Aubree, Annabelle Q., and Ellie. Students
Specials are not picky at all. We try to eat snack
at the end of the day during our
M – PE “Club” time (indoor recess). This way, I
