financial crisis specially in the Asian &
MENA region.
Apple I Phone & Chinese mobiles are
competing Nokia’s product. Nearly four
years on from the iPhone launch, Nokia still
doesn't have a product that is close to its
experience”.
In a memo from Nokia CEO Stephen Elop,
Elop said Nokia stands on a “burning
platform” surrounded on all sides by fast-
growing competitors.

Management
Despite the global financial crisis that
intensified in 2008, 2009 and left profound
impacts on the world economy and spared no
industry, we were able to post positive results
and make strategic investments that
positioned us for a better future and
enhanced shareholders’ long term value.
Training & Development
Nokia had participated in several major and
national projects. One of the most successful
projects was Project Management Learn Program
for kids ages 8 -16 . This project last for 6 Months
as a pilot phase and trained around 140 trainees
distributed in twelve governors areas all around
Egypt.
The program is an informal education program
designed to teach young students the skills
necessary to compete in the 21st century. IT was
implemented in Egypt for the first time in the
Arab region, in collaboration with the Project
Management Institution(PMI®).
The program delivered in Twelve selected
governorates namely; Great Cairo (Cairo, Giza,
Kaliobia), Alex, Mansura, Menia, Behira, Aswan,
Marsa Matrouh, EL Monoufia, Qena, El Mahala,
and Kafer El Sheikh - through community-based
technology centers (CLC's) & IT club Centers
(ITC's). The Learning curriculum helps young
people develop capabilities in technology literacy,
critical thinking, & collaboration through project-
based interactive learning.
The first patch involved the most of Nokia’s
Employees’ sons and duayther, the employees be
more loyal and get trust in its company
