Definitions
Pragmatics is the study of speaker meaning.
- Analyse > people mean and word mean

Pragmatics is the study of contextual meaning.


- Interpretation of the speaker in particular context (who,when,where,what)

Pragmatics is the study of how more gets coomunicated than is said.


- explore the invisible meaning to reach the speaker’s intended meaning

Pragmatics is the study of the expression of relative distance.


- the assumtption closeness between the listener and the speaker

Syntax > Semamtics > Pragmatics

Syntax > study of linguiscics of how the linguistics well-formed.


Semantics > study between the linguist and entities in the world (word and
things) which produces the description.
Pragmatics > study of relationship between linguistic form and the users of those
form.
