Globalization
• “If a firm or an organization expands its sales or

production beyond the national boundaries, then it is

globalization”

• It is much more than just crossing the boundaries of two

regions.

• Globalization has caused blurred international boundaries.

→ An open market for companies to seek talent

→ Employees have a wide working opportunities

• However, the globalized market lead to various challenges

- Whatsapp has the most users worldwide but it is

not popular in Vietnam

The reducing number of talent from other countries

- Highly skilled workers play an important role

- The need for these talents has increased

- Policies of governments to manage the migration flows has lead

to many challenges:

• Tightening policies

• Less immigration benefits

- Weak political position of the country

- Common immigration flow: Developing Country flows to

Developed country. 

- Change in policies because of the Covid-19 pandemic

- Political influence can bring discrimination

to the workplace

The discrimination can lead to:

- Foreign employees might be sidelined by

the local employees
