Defining Ethics and how it applies to the workplace
Ethics are the moral principles that
govern a person's behavior or the
conducting of an activity.
Ethical decision making in the workplace
takes into account each employee’s best
interest as well as those impacted by

It is important to understand that ethical
behavior in the workplace can encourage
positive employee behaviors and boost

Defining Inclusion and how it applies to the

Inclusion is the action or state of including or of being included within a group or


structure.
A positive, inclusive environment embraces diversity and engagement. Companies
must embrace its employees to be their truly authentic selves. One must feel included
which, in turn, creates authenticity.
When people feel included, they're more engaged and receptive. This higher

● This workplace will not allow any type of bullying, discrimination or
harrarssment.
● All employees should be treated with respect no matter the gender, age, race
or sexual orientation.
● With the combination of contrasting backgrounds, everyone should be
encouraged and embraced no matter the circumstances. This includes: gender,
religion, age, culture and preferences.
● All employees of this company are required to have equal opportunities and
should be able to further the success of Bermuda Exotic Infusion.
● Employees of this company are prohibited from sharing any confidential
information that pertains to or belongs to the company, without authorization
from the CEO.
● Our employees are a reflection of our company. Therefore anything posted on social media
accounts that does not uphold the standard of our company policy will be contemplated by
your Vice President.
● As a member of this team it is expected that you not give out information that paints the
picture of your co-workers in a bad way.
● Email is used solely for Company business. This means that our CEO and IT department
will have all access to the information on devices provided by our company.
● Viewing, sending or discussing pornography, pornographic jokes, stories or messages will
absolutely not be tolerated. This is considered a form of sexual harassment and will result in
immediate termination from the Bermuda Exotic Infusions company.
● The company owns all rights to any communication sent via email, stored or uploaded on
company devices. Please do not surmise that your electronic communication and data saved
or created on company devices to be private. Authorized staff have the authority to access
any details in your email or on company equipment at any point.

Ethics Policy
● Employees must respect their coworkers and anyone that they interact with in the
workplace.
● Respect others' space, opinions and beliefs.
● Violence or an aggressive nature toward any other member of staff will result in
immediate termination.
● Carry yourself with an honest and ethical sense of character.
● Any type of malicious behavior will not be accepted at BEI.
● Stealing is a criminal offence and will be handled accordingly.
● If you are found to be stealing from the company or other staff you will be
terminated and face charges.
● Know the law and your rights within that law and act accordingly.
● Work assiduously and take responsibility for any assignments that you may
receive.
● You may not get along with every person in our office but teamwork is
encouraged.
