Experience ● Bermuda Fashion Festival
October 29 - November 4, 2017 & July 4 - 17, 2018 & July 7 - 13 , 2019
I volunteered at the Bermuda Fashion Festival for 3 years. I have been
given the opportunity to be a social media influencer for the show. I
have aided in the backstage process of racking the clothes and dressing
the models; being a part of the setup and break down of the crew of the
show, packing and distributing gift bags and I had also been given the
task each year of overseeing the younger models. I got an ample
amount of experience working as a team.

● Babysitting and Camp Counselling

September 2014 - September 2018
I was responsible for caring for 2 girls aged 4 and 6 for one family and
2 young boys aged 5 and 8 for another family on many school holidays
and weekends. I always ensured that the children ate healthy snacks
with their meals and got enough outside play time and school work to
coordinate with their screen time. I also worked at Camp Pioneers for 4
years during summers and school holidays. I assisted the Camp
Director Mahtorrie Wilkinson in caring for the children who were aged
5-11.

● Bermuda Department of Corrections

May 2016 - February 2021
For the past 5 years, I have assisted the majority of school holidays at
the Bermuda Department of Corrections headquarters doing clerical
work and running the reception area. This gave me experience in
dealing with an office environment, administration and with the nature
of persons that I dealt with I was taught how to deal with grave
situations calmly and carefully.

● Charcoal Take-out Restaurant

October 2020 - May 2021
I started working at Charcoal Restaurant in October 2020 as a cashier. I
also assisted anywhere else in the kitchen that I was needed. Being that
this was my first time aiding customers face to face it gave me a greater
understanding of customer service. It also allowed me the knowledge of
having to work in a timely fashion while also being mindful of what
you are doing. Working with people that vary in ages, races and have
different beliefs I had the privilege of being shown how to respect
individuals, their space and their opinions regardless of my personal
feelings.
