1. Draw a diagram of the proposed payroll EDI and EFTs
system (you can use figure 6-7 as a guide )
2. List and briefly describe any problems or issues that you
think might arise in the implementation of this system.

 The problems or issues that I think might arise in the implementation of this system are
briefly described below :
a) Since EDI and EFTs are new in the company , it might be difficult for the staff to adjust
and work with new system and technology.
b) The technician might not like and accept the EFTs since this they wont get their pay
check directly but will be directly deposited to the bank after various deductions.
c) It might be a huge problems in the overall system if ever the time worked info. Were
recorded wrong, or any other processes are late and slow.
d) It might be complex , hard and time consuming for the company to make all necessary
deductions and pay to all concerned parties along with electronic notification
3. Provide a rationale & recommendation as to which elements
of this system-if any-you think APM should hire an outside
company to implement.

 I think APM should hire an outside company as a bank to successfully implement

the system because of following points:
a) It might be complex, hard and time consuming for the company to make all
necessary deductions and pay to all concerned parties along with electronic
notification. So , it’s better , easy and convinent the bank would be hired and let
he bank make all necessary deductions and pay technician’s paycheck & to those
all deductions to all concerned parties along with electronic notification as per the
electronic authorization and information from the bank.
b) There will be no false, slow or late payment to the technicians and their
deductions to concerned parties as they will do it instantly as per the electronic
authorization and information from the accounting dept. of the company.
