Is there a difference between sustainability and sustainable development? 

On the surface there is little difference but a good way of distinguishing between the two
is with the quote below:

"Sustainable development is the pathway to sustainability“

Those working in the field of sustainability envision sustainability as


having three realms:

* SOCIAL TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE
* ENVIRONMENTAL

company stakeholders

TRANSPARENCY :: The company provides timely disclosure of information about its products,
services, and activities, thus permitting stakeholders to make informed decisions

mutually beneficial relationship between th corporation and community in which it is
sensitive to the culture, context, and needs of the community
