Stereotype STIGMA
-Nasa ISIP mo na impression -Nasa SALOOBIN, pananaw
pag may nakitang isang tao/ grupo at pinaniniwalaan
- Negative ito o di maganda.

PREjudice
- Panghuhusga agad-agad kahit di alam ang buong kwento o impormasyon

How to stop discrimination…
• Stop stereotyping, stigmatizing and judging people.
• Before you talk and react – Be conscious and think
if you are being FAIR on what you are feeling about
a person or group.
• Give yourself the chance to know the person and
NOT on what you initially believe (stereotype) or
feel (stigma).
• If you discriminate – you do not show what kind of
the person you discriminate against BUT you show
what kind of person you are.

FAQs
 BORN (pinanganak/namana) OR INFLUENCED (nahawa)?
 Does it matter?
 Would that affect HOW you RESPECT someone?

 CHOICE ba maging bakla, lesbyana, bisexual or transgender?

 NOT A CHOICE – We do not choose to be attracted to anyone. Everyone does
not decide whom you get attracted to. We simply have those feelings.
 IT IS A CHOICE– We choose to follow our genuine feeling and live our lives as
heterosexual, gay or lesbian.
 IS HOMOSEXUALITY A PHASE?
 It is a phase to SOME (like heterosexuality) but to assume that it is to
EVERYONE is wrong.
 Importante ba magladlad?
- Bakit hindi magladlad o magpaka-totoo?
- Ano ang pumipigil sa kanila para magladlad o mag-out?
