Let’s take a break
A TRIP OF MUSSOORIE
THE DECISION

As it was a winter season and I’m bored with my daily works. I’ll decided to
take a break so, I decided to go to Mussoorie with my siblings.
It was the month of january so we all packed our bags with winter clothes
and other necessary items. Our itinerary started on Friday night around 7:00
PM from Gwalior by car.
ON THE WAY

We all enjoyed the way a lot. All of us

played games and having fun on the
way. We reached delhi on saturady
around 12:30 AM and after dinner we
decided to stay in a hotel. We booked
2 rooms in Fab Hotel Delhi. And after
having a little talk session, we all
slept off.
The next day, we all had breakfast and left for
Dehradun. We reached Dehradun at around 3:00 PM.
The excursion from Delhi to Dehradun is quite easy
and anyone can drive to this city. Mussoorie is not so
far from Dehradun city, it is only 34 km away and it
took us only 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach.
ROADTRIP

The road trip to Mussoorie is a must-have experience for all. The circular
and rambling roads without any support on the corner may increase our
heart beats. The roadside view from the car was amazing. We were going
higher and higher which offered us a wonderful view of the landscape. The
picturesque ghats, endless trees and plants and rustic eateries on the
roadside are all that we can see while going towards Mussoorie.

Next we came to a nearby Shiva Temple. We
donated some money in the box. We did darshan
and pujan too. We got Prasad from the pujari of
the temple. We were surprised to see that the
Prasad contained one piece of Rudraksh, badam,
kaju, and some fruits and sweets.
Well, no vacation or trip is complete without shopping. And mall road is popular for shopping and a great option only if
we know how to bargain. There are many shops where we will see colorful clothes and winter essentials like mufflers,
gloves, caps, socks, and scarves available in almost every shop. Additionally, there are shops for jewellery where we
will see unique earrings, bangles, necklaces and more. Handicrafts are also available in a few shops but the prices are
quite high. I brought some clothes and some accessories. After the little shopping spree, our stomachs were demanding
food!

There are numerous restaurants and road-side stalls where we can fill our stomach in mall road. We had our dinner in
Uphar Resturant that was delectable in taste. We ordered Dal Makhni, Shahi Paneer ans Aloo Naan. Also, we had a
Mango sifty which was very indulgent and creamy. The weather was superb and just after finishing our lunch, a heavy
downpour began. It was overwhelming rain for just 20-30 minutes that we really enjoyed. After that we were all tired,
so then we booked rooms in a hotel and we all went to sleep.
Next morning, the atmosphere of Mussoorie was filled with tiny drops of ice that provided a gorgeous view.
Everyone out there was looking for shades and then enjoying the picturesque view of rain with falling hail. Then
we left for Lal Tibba which is only 6 km away from mussoorie. It is the most elevated point from from where
we enjoy the stunning view of the region. The panoramic view of Nilkantha peak, kedarnath Peak and Badrinath
peak along with snow-capped mountains is awesome from that point. Also, the mesmerizing view of the Tibet
border is seen from the Lal Tibba.

The place is very pleasant and relaxing where we will see the remains of British Architecture. We took many
photographs of the magnificent view and had Momos, Maggie, and tea from the Cha Dukan nearby Lal Tibba.
Within just 15 minutes, the snowfall started that filled all of us joy. It was my first experience of snowballs and I
was very exited. The sonwballs were so light everyone out there was just as happy as me. We made 2 tiny
snowmen with our freezing hands. The tremendous surrounding and whether completed our voyage. We were
not willing to come back from that lovely spot only.
Well, it was already 3 pm when we took our car towards bhatta fall. Many people
are aware of charm of kempty fall but very few people know about bhatta fall. It is
extremely close to mall road and situated around 1.5 km downhill from the main
road of DDN-MSR. There are no charges to visit this natural stream and it has
became a favourite picnic spot for must of the tourist. It is a perfect place for
shutterbugs also as the location is pictureseque to catch nature to the best. There are
2-3 small shops near to bhatta fall where they sell several food items and cold
drinks. It tooks us 5 minutes walk to reach the main waterfall.
When we reached so close to the steam it gives a wonderful feeling. The sprinkle of water could easily
reach us and the sound of gushing water was very loud. We sat on the large stones and enjoyed the
exquisite view and natural beauty of the water stream. I’ll adviced to carry your own lunch as there are
only some small eateries that may not provide you with food if it is large gathering.

We clicked several pictures and enjoyed fried rice with a cold drink in the car as there was no space for
sitting in a nearby shop. After staying there for about 15 minutes we came back to Dehradun. The next
day we returned to gwalior in the early morning.
We all really enjoyed the trip. We all went
to hagout together after a long time. Due to
some such trips, we not only have fun but
also get spend alot of time with family and
friends. As nowdays we all busy in our own
work and in our own life because of these
trips we all enjoyed together.
Traveling might not change people, but it gives the never forgettable memories.
