Problem Statement/Opportunity:
In public transportation system at present we use paper
tickets which are printed by a small machine with a key
pad.
In this system we don’t know the details of passengers who
are using the public transport. The system requires user
details in order to provide security during identification
process.
The details are also required in order to provide
notifications via SMS to the user. The problem statement is
automatic ticketing with e-billing through IoT
technologies.
Brief description of Innovation/project
In this project we are going to make one system software for
automatic ticketing with e-Billing.

This software will support IoT Technology. For the automation,

Recognition of customer, e - billing, etc. IoT Technology will be used
for this purposes our project.

Basically, idea is like as per research in the mega cities there is a

facility of quick transportation called as BRTS. In this service
government provide station to station ticketing service. By this
method we are not able to count exact figure of passengers travelling
through the public transportation. To solve this problem and for
having the records of users and give them more facility.
 We are introducing one Software. In this software user will get one Card(Smart
Card). Each n every user can get this card once via registering their-self to our
website Portal.

 For registering into this portal, they have to fill one form and they have to verify
themselves via giving identification proofs, Their Latest Photo, permanent
Contact number,etc. after registration they will get their transportation card at
their residential address. In the public transportation there will be on IOT
device which will generate-Billing with the basic details of the User.

 As per our idea this Project will work like this, User can put their money
into the device and get e-ticket. If user will put exact money as per
travelling cost it will give you ticket. User can put money as much as
he/she want. Once he scratch the card at one station that will be his/her
entry point and when he scratch the card again at exit station the exact
money will be deduct from his/her account that he/has to pay.
 User will get whole information at their registered contact number via
SMS. TO implement this project, we will use Technologies like android,
IOT Technologies, etc.
Uniqueness and Novelty of proposed
innovation/project
 In the Market this type of softwaresis not yet available. Whichever
softwares are available that all operated through the Human and not
Automatic.

 So, in our project we will make automated e-Billing through IOT device.
We will try our best to provide this in users convenient Language/ Local
Language of the City after scanning the card. So, any age of/ any language
known user can use this facility.

 As we know that lot of people information this software will contain. For
that security purpose we will use Security Development Lifecycle (SDL).
To assure information security we will use six phases of SDL: - training,
requirements & design, construction, testing, release, and response.
Methodology of Project
In this System there will be two to sub-system. 1. IoT based Hardware Machine 2. Software Application

In the IoT based Hardware system it’s working will be like after scanning the card it will show user basic
information and then give the option of payment. For that we use process as given below.

Sensors/Devices:- First, sensors or devices collect data from their account information. This data
could be User name, contact no and account details like balance.

Connectivity:- Next, that data is sent to the cloud. The sensors/devices can be connected to the cloud
through a variety of methods including: cellular, satellite, WiFi, Bluetooth, low-power wide-area
networks (LPWAN), connecting via a gateway/router

Data Processing:- Once the data gets to the cloud software performs some kind of processing on it.

User Interface:- Next, the information is made useful to the end-user in some way. This could be via an
alert to the user (email, text, notification, etc). For example, a text alert

Usage of Project
 The electronic ticket replaces the paper ticket.
e-ticket allows customers to purchase, change and
refund.
 Transportation transactions over the telephone,
eliminating the need to visit the Station.
  Verification is Easier from the earlier system for
transportation company as well as for user.
 Transportation can have the exact number of user
travelling through the Service.
