Functions of Top Level Management

 Lay down primary and subsidiary objective.


 Directors act as a trustee.
 To select CEO and assigning authority and responsibility.
 To sanction budget of the other different department.
 To abide by the law and take care of interest of different stakeholder.
 To take strategic decisions.
 To analyze and resolve complex problem as per legal provision.
 To plan for the enterprise, implementation and supervision of the same.
 Distribution of profit, dividend, reserve fund, reinvestment of fund.
 To analyze reports of different activities.
Middle Level of Management

 Important link between Top Level Management and Bottom Level


Management.

 Members: Departmental Officer, Divisional Officer, Experts
Functions of Middle Level Management

 To implement the orders and instructions given by CEO.


 To prepare budget by each department and present it before Top Level
Management.
 To formulate policies, rules and structure.
 Necessary steps to increase efficiency of departmental activities.
 To enthuse employee
 Constant touch with another department.
 To focus on function of sub-division.
 To supervise the working of department and pass information to Top Level
Management.
 To help Top Level Management in taking policy decisions.
Bottom Level Management

 Other Name: Supervisor’s level, Functional Level, Operational Level


 Member: Supervisors, Jobbers, Foreman
Functions of Bottom Level Management

 Supervise function of employee.


 Discipline among employee and boosting their morale.
 To perform functions like layout, maintenance, and repairing of machine.
 To plan routine work for department.
 To perform functions like promotion, training, transfer.
 To get orders, instruction and program from departmental officer.
 To make arrangement for necessary equipment and raw material.
 Solve genuine problem of worker.
 To implement decision and policies decided by Top Level Management.
 To forward reports of bottom level, employee complaint and suggestion to Middle
Level Management.
