Adverb Of Sequence

Adverbs of sequence are USED to Describe a SERIES of EVENTS in


relation with one another and the ORDER in which they occurred or
to describe a PROCEDURE.

You can start using FIRST , continue with THEN, NEXT, AFTERWARDS,
AFTER THAT (in any order you like) and Concluded with FINALLY, or
LAST OF ALL.

These adverbs of sequence are usually placed at the BEGINNING of


the sentences

It was Sunday morning January 2, 2015 my friend and I went to the beach after
studying hard. We wanted to refresh our mind and enjoy the fresh air. We went there
early in the morning by car. Many people were there when we arrived.
After parking our car, we walked along the beach barefoot. We could feel the
smoothness of the sand. The cold sea water touched our feet.
Then, we looked for a place to take arrest. We rolled out the mat on the ground and
had a snack together. While eating, we saw many things. We also saw some people
sun bathing.
After eating, we were interested in sunbathing as well.
We were so happy and really enjoyed that day
