INTRODUCTION

 Art products are the included in the chapter 97 of HS


(Harmonized system) codes
 The code for the art products is the 9701 in which there are
various sub-products and HS codes like 970110 is for the
paintings, drawings and pastels, executed entirely by hand.
 For this research I have selected the time series data on the
exports of art products from India for the 20 consecutive
years (2001-2021).
 Firstly I have done the overall research about art product than
on the some sub-products of the art.
 I also added the country wise export of art products for the
two consecutive years.

CONCLUSION

 The overall conclusion is that the exports of the art products


from India to the world are very fluctuating.
 As we see the highest exports were in the 2003-04 and in
2016-17, after that the exports were started to decline.
 There may be various reasons or factors for the declining rate
of exports like economic cycle, change in taste and habits of
customer and the current pandemic on the world, etc.
 The Demand for the art products are the elastic in the nature,
therefore there are various fluctuations in the sales of these
products.
CONCLUSION

 However the high demand for the art products is in the USA,
UK, Japan, Singapore.
 The growth rate for the USA and UK is decreasing but the
highest growth rate for these products are in the Japan,
Korea, Germany and Singapore.
 Therefore in the countries (Japan, Korea, Germany and
Singapore) there is the scope for exports of art products from
India.
