BIOGRAPHY: The Man Before The Myth

As a kid Jean-Louis Deniot have attended the Ecole Camondo

as it is one of the most prestigious schools in the business.
There he studied contemporary styles and concepts which
enabled him to develop his analytic capacities and creative
mind, but he rapidly felt that the program was too limiting.
That is the reason why he started to work at the age of 21,
managing renovations and undertaking apartment
restorations. He was also passionate about art history and
architecture, which led him, upon graduating, to open his
own agency. The school provided him with solid credibility
because of its untarnished reputation and his own work gave
him the confidence he needed. Jean-Louis Deniot first
opened his firm in 2000, and today is considered as The
Future of the new generation of French High Decoration.
Since 2000, Deniot’s Paris-based firm has consisted of a
talented crew of 15 individuals. He has worked on several
residential and commercial projects and even designed the
interior for a Falcon 2000 private plane.
 THE PROJECTS
A great enthusiast of iconic designs, his decors
feature no shortage of arresting materials and
textures tempered with subtle color palettes,
muted tones and impeccable lighting. At the
crossroads between classical terminology and
contemporary aesthetics, Jean-Louis Deniot’s

Palace New Delhi
Jean-Louis Deniot, the assignment to create an estate in New Delhi from the ground up was the commission of his
dreams. All it took to transform it into reality were ingenuity, patience, and a cadre of Indian craftsmen.

Falcon 2000
Natural fibers, sensuous and luxurious, muted colors, stitched leathers, 1940’s style fabric patterns. Deniot completely
redecorated this Falcon 2000 using materials fit for interior architecture, allowing for his designs to travel even more.
