COMMAND AND REQUEST

The defination command and request

• Command is a strict sentence and usually ends with an
exclamation(!) or exclamation point because of its ordered
nature.For example”Listen!” or “close the door!”. The command
is used to express the wishes of the speaker to the other person
command can bea ban,for example : “ do not step the grass”.
Command sentence are always in the form of simple present
tense,which means always using the first verb or verb 1.
• Request is a sentence request or request ,can also be in the
form of a command sentence but the language is smoother and
does not use exclamation (!).Can be interpreted this sentence is
more polite. Request usually begin with will,could,would and
may.
Difference Between Command and Request.
Command :
• Command is a strict type of sentence and is usually marked with an exclamation
mark as a command sign.
• Command is usually used by people whose kindship is near like a theme or friend.
• Command can mean a prohibition to do something yhat is marked by the words”
do not” or “ never”.
• The command is always in the form of a simplepresent tense because is used for
direct sentences .

Request:
• Request is the form of the word request for something
• Request are usually more polite and smooth
• Request often use question marks (?)
• Request using capital forms such as can,may,would,could .
Example
Command :
• Turn on the television !
• Lift this box!
• Help me!
• Don’t leave me !
• Clean this room !
Example
Request:
• Will you come to the party with me ?
• Can you sweep this floor ?
• Can you open the window ?
• Will you eat my food ?
• Can you open the door please ?
DIALOGUE
• PATIENT : Excuse me, I want to check up my health can you tell me where is
it?
• NURSE : You can go along this corridor and find registration place at the
end of the corridor, after registration you can go to the doctor in the
second floor.
• PATIENT : Thank you
• NURSE : your welcome

a recipe you can drink it 3 times a day, please do not forget it!
