• Abstract
Cleaning is the main basic need for all human beings and it is
necessary for daily routine process.multipurpose road
cleaning machine is used in many applications such as
example roads, railway stations, airports, hospitals, Bus
stands, in multi buildings, organization, colleges etc.
Working on basis on mechanical and electronic devices. The
cleaner has two parts. one part clean the dusty road, small and
medium size sand particals ,tree leaves etc. second part will
clean big scrap like plastic bottels, cold drink cans, plastic
begs, packages etc. The machine is assembly of various rigid
component like chassis, motor, chain drive, containers,
battery. In this project, our motives is to present a detailed
qualitative study of cleaning system using the cleaner, the
main focus being cleanliness with minimum utilization of
resources available with us.
• Introduction
Basically the cleaning machine has two parts front and rear parts. the
front is one time of chain conveyor and the rear part is brush roller which
is driven by chain drive.
The front part is collect the big scrap with the help chain conveyor strip
and collect the large west in different container.
And the rear part collect the dust with help of brush roller and vacuum
pump in different container.
front part is combination of sprockets , chain , metallic strips , MS
sheet ,Bering, DC motor and battery.
And the rear part is combination of big and small sprockets , horizontal
roller brush , container , vacuum pump etc.
Cleaning and scrap collection machine has wide application in small
organization, industries, garden, park, colleges, railway stations, airports,
hospitals, Bus stands, in multi buildings, organization for cleaning the
road and separate the dust and larger waste like plastic bottles, cold drink,
packages, plastic begs.
• Principle of Cleaning and
Scrape Collecting Machine
This project work on two different principle
1. Front part is work on the conveyor belt principle.
 West is lifted by lifters which are connected to the chain. The chain revolves
with the sprocket wheel which is driven by the motor. The energy provided to
the motor is electrical energy. When motor runs the chain starts to circulate
making the lifter to lift up. The wastage material are lifted by lifter teeth and
stored in collecting box. Once the collecting box is full, the waste materials are
removed from the box.
2. Second part is work on chain drive mechanism and vacuum principle..
The wheels are moved for a desired position with a help of manual force which
can handle is provided to move .The handle can be adjusted for a required
height. A chain drive is connected to the wheels .The chain is moved according
to the wheel. the brush moving and the brush brooms the waste present on the
road also it dumps the waste into the waste collecting box. From waste collecting
box vecumm pump will collect the dust in other container.
