• Currently, in this pandemic people are getting information about Covid-19 from
various resources. But as they are facing problems for getting the tabular data, it is
difficult for them to analyze the data, predicting the instances from the data.
• Further, visualizations break down COVID- 19 trends into simplified information for
public understanding.
• Also, people are frightened to move out of their houses to do essential work because
of the concern that COVID-19 is a communicable disease and could be spread.
• In conclusion Lack of information or misinformation was proving to be fatal. To
prevent this loss of human lives, we are planning to construct an application.
• In our project, we will be able to provide all the necessary information to the user
about the pandemic situation. Complete dashboard which will show India's COVID-19
patient count, Fatality rate, recovery rate, and all information to the user. With the help
of Time- series forecasting, we can predict the upcoming trend in the pandemic
situation.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
• Currently, various computer-based approaches present COVID-19 data through different types
of charts, which is very useful to recognize its behaviors and trends.
• Nevertheless, such approaches do not allow for observation of any projection regarding
confirmed cases and deaths, which would be useful to understand the trends of COVID-19.
• In reference to the problem statement, we like to propose a solution i.e., to build an application
that will present actual information about COVID-19 on the world map along with the
predictions for the next few days in accordance with the new cases, new deaths, and recoveries.
• It also acts as a contact tracing application which gives you an idea of Coronavirus affected
people around your live location.
• The application also allows the user to perform a self-assessment test for Covid-19 symptoms.
This feature can allow people to get the required help in time and save their life.
• The project is formatted in such a way that it can be used in the future for any other pandemic.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
• We have used the following models for the forecasting of Covid-19 cases
1. Polynomial Regression
2. Bayesian ridge Regression
• We have used the following models for the Probability of symptom check
1. Logistic Regression
2. Extreme Gradient Boosting
3. Decision Tree classifier
4. Random Forest classifier
• We have used the following model for the Chatbot
1. Natural Language Processing and NLTK

CONCLUSION
• We have tried to implement a COVID Contact Tracing Application that helps in maintain social
distance, getting correct and accurate information about the pandemic.
• Through our application we hope to flatten the curve of confirmed cases by helping people to
maintain social distance and also raise the curve of recovered people by directing them to
available medical facilities around them in time.
• We conclude by believing that taking relevant precautions at a local level will help us win against
Covid-19 pandemic at a global level.
FUTURE SCOPE
• In relevance to the proposed solution, we would like to throw some light upon the future scope of
our project.
• Its future scope is to develop such applications which could be more helpful for the locals of
particular areas.
• More information could also be added to the application depending on the government like beds
available in hospitals, Count of total no of testing done, containment areas in a city, hotspots in a
city, etc.
• As we try to flatten the curve at the local level than only it would help a country to decrease and to
win from COVID-19.
