• Reservations are created only for “Direct Material” i.e. materials that are in project BOM

• The materials that are required to complete a villa are planned as reservations on projects

• If maintained correctly with activity Schedule, this will help in automatic MRP from SAP

• Each BOM will be uploaded on project based on villa typology and number of villas of that type

Identifying Reservations: Why Missing Reservations ?

Note: No Reservation for Indirect Materials e.g. Consumables / Spares etc. & not maintained in BOM’s

GOODS ISSUE
• Materials that are physically issued to Villas should be posted in SAP. This process is called
“Goods Issue”

• “Direct Materials” i.e. BOM material, will be issued against “Reservations” for the project

• Identifying the reservation for “Goods Issue” is explained in above slide

• “Indirect Materials”, will be issued against WBS directly.

• Goods Issue should be posted “Regularly” based on the day to day physical issues.

Over Consumption Under Consumption

• Actual Issue Qty. > BoM Qty • Actual Issue Qty. < BoM Qty.
