Project Overview

Welcome to Super Project - GigTech!

This is a new type of data collection study that requires you to select one or multiple tasks and leave your
home to take pictures of various EV (Electric Vehicle) charging stations and/or Businesses around
your neighbourhood.

• This project will require you to simply use the Appen Mobile app on your smartphone.

• You will be required to allow the app to have access to your geolocation.

• You can choose an area on the map that is relevant to you and claim all the Businesses and/or EV
Stations available there.

• You must complete the assigned area within 12 hours of claiming it.

• The pay rate displayed on the app is for the completion of each area you’ve claimed. We
consider an area a batch of pictures from Businesses/EV Stations corresponding to what you’ve
claimed.

FAQ
1. What should I do if I arrive to the assigned area and it is a residential address or there is no EV station there?
• First of all, apologies for the inconvenience caused. We ask you to look 50 meters away from the
assigned area to see if you can locate the Business/EV Station. If you can’t find it, please go ahead with the pictures
of whatever is available in the assigned area and complete the session as if you were taking photos of the assigned
business or station. You’ll still be paid for the submission.

• Once you have access to the app, you will be able to see a list
of available areas and each areas will have one or multiple “POIs”, the dollar
amount is for the completion of all POIs within the available area.

• Our team is working to upload new POIs on a weekly basis. We kindly ask you to always check for new
POIs near you.
