Description of the company 


 It began operating on December 2, 1945, with
only 34 people working in a small plant in
Mexico City.

 We produce and distribute fresh and frozen


box bread, buns, cookies, cupcakes, English
muffins, bagels, packaged goods, tortillas,
salty snacks and confectionery.

 Grupo Bimbo was born in 1945 and is one of the Mexican companies
with the greatest success and projection worldwide.

 • It has a presence in 19 countries in America, Europeand Asia.• It has


more than 8,000 products and closeof 150 prestigious brands.

 Lorenzo Servitje was born on November 20, 1918 in Mexico
City.

 He completed his university studies at the National


Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he
graduated as a public accountant.

 In 1944, he conceived the idea of ​opening his own bakery.

 On December 2, 1945, Grupo Bimbo was inaugurated

One of the first challenges that Lorenzo faced was the death of
his father, Juan Servitje, who took on the great responsibility of
managing the family business, leaving his university

as a business icon in Latin America, currently having
196 plants and more than 1800 points of sale
strategically located throughout more than 33 countries
in America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
