The first thing we are going to start with is the Instagram
Algorithm.

Quickly explained, here’s how it works:


Whenever you post something on Instagram
-let’s say you are a new
account and you currently have 100 followers-
the post will be shown to only 10-20
people (which is 10-20% of your total audience) that follow
you.
This is done because Instagram wants to “scan” your
content and identify whether is valuable or not.
If it is, it’ll be shown to a bigger portion of your following.
To rank in any hashtag, you need engagement and the
best way to get it is, through engagement
groups.

Example:
You’ve just posted and your post is already getting a small
level of engagement coming from your followers
(Remember that, on average, if 20 people
see it, 5 will be likely to engage. This means a conversion
rate of around 25%).
You’ll most likely get extra engagement due to common
spammers commenting on your post.
Now, the role of engagement groups finally comes into
play.
Using them will boost your post with likes and comments
even more, which will result in your post ranking on small
hashtags.
From there, more people will
see it and, if the post is good enough, they will ALSO
engage with it.

Last step is aiming to get to the explore page; which
happens when further engagement is received from big

If the content is not good enough, people will not bother to
engage and if you don’t get engagement, you

to collect more likes and comments so that you
can go around showing off, it’s a powerful way to leverage
the system.

One of the biggest challenges we have to face at some
point is to decide and come up with our niche.
We get nervous, because we don’t know whether it’s going
to work or not, whether that market is oversaturated or if
there’s still plenty of room and so on.
Choosing niche is definitely one of the most important
tasks when it comes to starting a business,
that’s why you have to pay close attention to it.
Just to give you a quick snippet, the 3 most profitable
areas are:

1. Health
2. Wealth
3. Relationships

As a rule of thumb, if you look for something within these
groups, you’ll have a higher chance of pulling 4-5 figures
(even more) every month and your business will thrive
overtime.
Now here comes my point.
If you’re an athlete,
you may be tempted to start a business into the Fitness
niche right? It’s easy: when figuring out your niche, you
kinda need to do a brain dump and write down all the
possible ideas that may be valid to consider.
Think about your passions, your knowledge and what
you’re good at. Try to really dig into yourself and look for
inspiration. Getting back to the fitness example: you’re
planning on becoming a Fitness coach and are about to
open an Instagram page.
There is just one huge problem: You’re about to enter a
red ocean.
In this case, “ocean”
clearly stands for niche, and the word “red” is used to
indicate the overcrowded mass of sharks (competitors)
already present and swimming in that area.

If you tried to dive into this red ocean, you would still
probably get rich but you will have to
work way harder than if it was a blue ocean.
A “Blue ocean” is the exact contrary of a red ocean and, in
order to find it, you need to look into the “sub-niches”

If I had to think of an idea and wanted to implement it, it
would look very similar to this:

I’m not vegan but that’s just an example of my approach
when brainstorming an idea.
I always keep the bigger picture in mind
(Health/Wealth/Relationship), then various niches where
I may be able to provide value for (Real estate, finance,
food, meditation, couples, single people etc.) and,
ultimately, I focus on their sub-niches (Flipping houses on
eBay/Craiglist, Trading as a 2nd source of income for busy
9to5 workers, Vegan Meals for kids, Meditation sessions
for busy entrepreneurs, Single men over 50 and so
on.)
Try to follow the same thought process, concentrate and
notice how you’ll instantly come up with
more ideas ready to be tested.

I said “tested” because our job is not done yet.


Although a sub niche may be more accessible than a
common, overcrowded niche we still need to analyze the
market and whether it’s profitable or not.
A good “Market Research” session might last even up to 2
weeks, it all depends on how much time you dedicate to
this essential part.
Since we mainly do business through Instagram, I’ll show
you the same method I use to research social
media channels:
Once you have an idea you want to focus on, let’s find
some competitors who run an exact/similar business to the
one you’re planning to set up.
Let’s find 10-20 big competitors in the same sub-niche and
look specifically for:

· Posting Pattern - How many times do they
post?
· Posting Timeline - When do they post?
· Caption - Do they use specific formulas?
Like HSO? or just Call To Action? (Double-tap if…/TAG a
friend that ….?)
· Favorite content (Video/Image/Carousel?)
· Average engagement (Likes, Comments
etc..)
This will give you a general idea of how things work in that
specific sub-niche: How interested and engaged the target
audience is, what kind of content they want to see on
Instagram, which trigger words get them to buy and so
on…
These guidelines will
help you decide whether it’s worth pursuing that idea or
not, allowing you to save time and energy in case you
realize that you should go a different way.
After a lot of brainstorming and coffee, you’ll be able to
gather 4/5/6 good ideas that should probably be tested.

mission and brand.

Rule of thumb when it comes to BIO creation: Give people
a reason why they should follow you, focus on the benefits
they will get by constantly learning and engaging
with you.
For example, if you are a relationships advisor, you can
create exercises or daily tips that will help your audience
get over a hard break-up in just 30 days.
Time is a benefit, because we’re always looking for the
best results in the less time possible.
The Story Highlights need to represent your values and
what you aim to provide with your page.
You can also share more personal information like
your story, who you are, how you managed to defeat your
target audience’s biggest problems and pain points,
results, testimonials etc…
For example, if your page talks about
travelling for students, you can share insights, pictures,
videos, and even lessons and snippets of your adventures
and travels by creating story highlights.

It’s wise to come up with your own content scheme as it
gives an impression of “clarity” and “uniformity”.
It might be hard at first, but if you follow the advice shared
in the FREE eBook, you’ll be able to come up with

Now that you know how to set up your profile, people will
be more likely to follow you thanks to a good, first
impression.

4.H.A.S

I want you to be aware of the H.A.S, also known as the


“Human Attention Span"
Whenever someone lands on your account after tapping
on your post from either hashtags or explore page or other
sources, you have a very short amount of time (around 5
to 10 seconds) to persuade that person to follow you.
That’s why everything needs to be on point.
In a world where our attention goes from side to side, it’s
important to always count on engaging, attention-grabbing
content.
In the following chapter, I’ll show you exactly how to do
that.

You need to be careful if you want to build a real, loyal and


high-spending audience on Instagram, because, if you
happen to make these mistakes, your account will suffer
and you’ll probably get shadowbanned too (trust me, it’s
not funny).

Shadowban is, why it happens and how to overcome it; but
for now let’s point out what NOT to do on Instagram:

1. Follow and Unfollow:
Follow and Unfollow is dead in 2020.
I reckon most people know this already, but if
you’re still using this trick, stop right now as it will hurt your
account and you won’t be able to build a raving audience.
This may have worked back in 2015 or 2016, but definitely
not in 2020.
You will probably get to a remarkable amount of
followers in quite no-time (until you get blocked or banned)
but they will never be interested in what you have to offer,
never.
That’s why we are here on IG: to build our business and
help people that are currently experiencing some sort of
issue; which we were able to overcome.
What’s the point of having
10,000 followers, if they don’t even look at your feed?

2. Spamming other accounts:
Don’t spam other people’s accounts with
meaningless comments in order to promote yourself.
You will look like a bot and people
certainly won't be captivated to follow you, nor will the
algorithm.
What you can do instead is, to leave a meaningful
comment in order to get people’s attention by helping them
(more on this in the “Growth Exploder Strategy” Chapter)
3. Using bots and automation services:
Same as Follow/Unfollow, Automation and bots are dead
in 2020.
No matter which false promise they fill you
with while selling their services, but the truth is simple:
it will not work and you will probably get shadow-banned
or, worse, completely banned.

I might agree that there are genuine services out
there, I personally never found one (I tried planoly for a bit,
but it didn’t really make a remarkable impact) so I don’t
suggest it.
Feel free to experiment but do proper research
first.

4. Promoting scammy stuff


Thanks to affiliate marketing, making money
with Instagram has never been so simple and effective
(More on this on “Affiliate Marketing, How to Make Money”
Chapter) but, in order to make good money with it, you
always have to promote useful products, that genuinely
aim to solve your target audience’s problems and helping
them to reach their goals.
I will never promote a book written by some
sort of un-verified, weird guru who I’ve never heard before
who doesn’t even have a proven track record of results,
because I don’t see the value for my audience.

I will, instead, definitely be promoting something
like Russell Brunson’s eBooks or Tony Robbins' for
example.
Think about your people first, not money.
5. Not following Instagram’s hourly/daily limits
Instagram has always put measures in place in
order to erase as much as possible potential spammers
and bots, which are against Instagram’s guidelines.
Here’s a clear breakdown of the hourly and
daily limits:
Likes: 120/hour – 1000/day
Comments: 55/hour – 200/day
Follow: 10-20/hour – 200/day
DMs: 50-80/day
Hashtags: 30/post
All Actions: 500/day

Remember these guidelines especially while
doing Engagement Groups in order to avoid getting
temporary blocked.
If your account is new and haven’t engaged for
a long time, these limits may be way lower as your
account needs to gain the algorithm’s trust first

taken literally since they may vary from account to

6.IMPROVE YOUR IG GAME
WITH THE “INSIGHTS”
The “Insights” Tab is one of the most useful Instagram’s
features.
It allows you to literally analyze everything that’s been
going on with your page.
In fact, you can use them to:
- Keep track of all your posts and identify the best
performing ones
- Keep track of Story Views
- Create Paid Promotions
- Keep track of the total number of Impressions, Reach,
Interactions with your account, Profile visits, Followers and
so on.
- Understand your audience better (Instagram tells you
exactly where your audience comes from, what’s their age
range, their gender and the peak times where your
audience is active and online)

6.IMPROVE YOUR IG GAME
WITH THE “INSIGHTS”
The Insights tab contains useful information, which you
definitely need to constantly look at and pay attention to, if
you aim to grow your page massively and create a
strong bond with your audience overtime.
These metrics are key to success:
If you want to help
your target people and, ultimately, make tons of money;
you have to know everything about them (or at least
almost everything) so that you can design a
better, more efficient Content Strategy as well as
Marketing Strategy.
For example, knowing where most of your audience
comes from is a great indicator that will help you deciding
how to write on your page, posts, stories etc.
(If most of your audience is from France for example, it
might not be very wise to make content written and
explained in English, right?)
Same concept goes for the gender.

If you’re a modeling agency for example, with 75% of your
entire audience being MALE, and planning
on releasing a new video aimed at promoting a new
clothing line, you should definitely include a male model as
part of that video.
There’s a huge chance that most of the male audience will
emotionally connect with the person in the
video and this will spark your conversion rates increasing
your sales.
Last, but not least, in the “Insights” tab you can keep track
of the overall engagement.
By looking at this data, you can quickly figure out whether
your content strategy is working or not.
If you notice a sudden surge of engagement after
implementing a new plan of action, it means
that it succeeded in resonating with your audience at an
emotional level, making them feel more attached to your
brand and engaging more.

On the other side, if your followers are growing at a slower
pace than before, you may want to stop for one second
and pinpoint the cause of the problem.
I’ve been following these concepts for quite a while, but
only lately I released the power of metrics and its role in
enhancing a stronger connection between the business
owner and the audience.
The whole point is:
You have to know your people, if
you truly want to help them.
Quick note: In order to unlock the “Insights” feature, you
need to switch your account to a “Business Account”.
Simply tap on the 3 dashes next to your username and
scroll all the way down to “Settings”, head
over to “Account”, scroll down and tap on “Switch to a
business account”.

7.TARGET THE BEST
CUSTOMERS FOR YOUR
NICHE – LOCATION
You’ve probably noticed already that many posts are
sometimes marked with a location right under the
username.
That’s because they’ve used another Instagram feature
called “Location”.
When you’re about to publish your post, you have the
choice of inserting a location (which can either be where
you are right now or different) in order to further
push your content with extra engagement.
This happens as you’re targeting a specific area and, as a
consequence, many people that actually live there will
bump into your content at some point.
It’s a wise strategy to add some sort of location not only
because you receive extra engagement for free, but also
because you can start targeting your audience by
focusing on different factors.

7.TARGET THE BEST
CUSTOMERS FOR YOUR
NICHE – LOCATION
For example, if you sell luxury items, you’d want to focus
on that portion of wealthy people that can easily afford
your products.
In this case, you could try for a week or two to insert “New
York” as preferred location in your posts.
By doing this, you slowly start building your audience
according to your selected Buyer Persona’s profile (the
profile of your ideal customer)
Even if you decide not to use it, the more your posts go
viral the more people from all over the world will see and
interact with your content; this means that it’s not
mandatory to include the location in your posts, as you’ll
still attract people worldwide anyway.

Here’s where we start talking about creating content.
If you have a Personal Brand, you should be creating the
best content in your industry, whether if you’re a weight
loss coach, a personal development coach or anyone
as such, then focus to become the expert and authority in
your niche.
Aim to create content that triggers people’s emotions and
make them engage with it.
“Giving them what they want” is the cornerstone for
personal brands.
Being “the main guy” in your industry, giving out the best
content possible, content that awakens people’s emotions
and, ultimately, networking and engaging with them, trying
to fix their problems and help them
reaching their goals.

As a Niche Page, you should be focusing on your specific
niche.
Let’s say you’re in the “Dating And Relationships” niche.
You will brainstorm and design specific content, which is
aimed to answer your audience’s worst headaches.
Some examples could include:
- “10 ways to start a conversation with your dream girl”
- “How to ask her out without exposing yourself too much”
- “Be the man she wants to date”
- “10 Tricks to find out whether she fancies you or not”
Don’t go blind. Create content which is useful for your
people.
Remember, More Value = More Followers.
In order to come up with a “content schedule” you should
conduct a Market Research.

potential competitors (If your page is new, target
competitors with 10x more followers than you) and
observe:
- How they engage with their audience

- How many times they post per day

- Which time of the day they post
- How they write the caption (what CTAs do they use?)
- Check their Best Performing Posts (more on this in the
“Viral Content Strategy”)

Engagement is also an important piece of the H.E.B
Formula (Hashtags, Engagement and Branding)
There’s an entire chapter dedicated to explain how
hashtags really work and how to pick the best ones for
your niche.
This Formula allowed me to cross even 2,000 daily
followers and constantly and exponentially grow
(don’t worry as I’ll show you exactly how you can do the
same.)

So, what is engagement?
Engagement is basically formed by the amount of likes,
comments, saves and DM shares a post receives and
keeps receiving.
Why do you need engagement?
Well, you definitely want to pay attention to this.
Whenever you post something on Instagram, the overall
success of that post depends on how much engagement it
will get during the next 60 minutes since the content was
posted and within 24 hours from his publication.
If you get decent engagement, your post will rank on small
and medium hashtags, followed by big hashtags and then
on the explore page.
The amount of engagement you receive within this period
of time is what makes the whole difference,
that’s what separates an average, common post from a
Viral bomb.

In the first hour, you should aim to get, at least, 300 likes
(depending on the hashtag) as well as 100-150 likes within
the next hour to keep your post tied onto an engagement
flow.
In order to have a rough idea of how many likes and
comments you should aim to get to be able to rank on that
hashtag is to look at the “9 top posts” and quickly
calculate an average of likes and comments those
accounts are getting. That will be your benchmark.
If you can beat them, amazing, otherwise fear not: choose
smaller hashtags and keep those aside for when your
page will be bigger.
These are the essentials of Instagram, yet I’ve not seen
any “guru” teaching anything as such, this all comes from
personal experience, after so many tests and failures.
You need your post to get constant engagement
throughout the entire 24 hours since it's publication, to
increase the chances of it going totally viral.
I’ll share with you how I usually do it:
Firstly, I tend to do 2 or 3 Dx50 telegram groups, then wait
several minutes.

After that, I proceed with 2 or 3 Dx30 groups and some
Dx5, Dx10 comments group.
(Use the spreadsheet you received with the FREE eBook
as a reference, if you haven’t got it already make sure to

I also have a few DM groups created with pages in the
same niche, where I engage with members of the pod
(Instagram Engagement Groups, they only allow
up to 32 members)
Once that’s done, I go for another 1 or 2 Dx24h groups to
give my post that continuous engagement required for it go
as viral as possible.
In order to maximize results and minimize the effort
required, make sure to always go for the most active
engagement groups.
Leave small gaps of time while engaging, around 10
seconds after liking a post and 2 minutes break after 30-50
likes.
You do this to avoid
Instagram detecting you as a spammer or bot.

This is the ultimate “How to use networking in order to gain
hundreds of followers” kind of guide.
In the last section we spoke about groups on Telegram,
but here we are going to talk about engagement groups on
Instagram, a.k.a DM groups.
In Telegram, groups normally contain thousands of
members but on DM groups the members can be up to a
maximum of 32.
The difference with Telegram Groups is that you’re likely to
know the other people in that specific Instagram Pod,
since it’s relatively small.
There are 2 types of DM groups you can benefit from:
1. DM Engagement Groups
2. DM Shoutouts Groups
DM Engagement Groups
The concept behind it is similar to the telegram groups:
give engagement = receive engagement

Here you have to engage with every single post in order to
get your posts engaged back. (No leeching allowed,
otherwise you can get kicked out of the group, “Leeching”
means not engaging with other people’s post but posting

It’s really powerful because these people are ready to
engage as soon as you post and it’s common sense to do
the same in return.
Another benefit of these pods is that they’re usually full of
accounts from the same niche as yours.
Instagram looks kindly upon similar account’s interaction,
as it considers it to be very valuable and genuine for the
overall community and, therefore, will be ranking you
organically even higher!
In order to set up a DM group, simply ask pages in your
niche if they can add you in some already-created DM
groups or just ask people in your niche
if they would like to join yours.
If they agree, create a new group and add them into it.

DM Shoutouts Group:
It’s similar to a DM Engagement Group, but instead of
liking and commenting on each other’s posts, everyone will
be giving shoutouts to each other on a weekly basis.
Let’s say that there are 14 people in the group (user1,
user2, user3,….user14), one way to organize it could look
like this:
Monday: User1, User2
Tuesday: User3, User4
Wednesday: User5, User6
Thursday: User7, User8
Friday: User9, User10
Saturday: User11, User12
Sunday: User13, User14
On Monday all the members
of the pod will be giving shoutouts to user1 and user2.
On Tuesday all the members of the pod will be
giving shoutouts to user3 and user4 and so on.
Ask people in your niche if they can add you into any
shoutout groups.

time consuming, but I personally don’t trust
third party services, on top of that my method has always
been proven to work.

By manually searching them, you are most likely to find
only the relevant ones for your niche.
For example, if you have a “Jewelry” page, you only want
to find related hashtags such as:
#justmarried #dreamring #ringbling and so on.
Never use hashtags that are not related to your niche, I
can’t stress this enough.
Using the same example, if you daily post about “Rings”
you certainly won’t need hashtags like #finance or #dogs
right?

Anyway, Here’s how I manually search for the most active
hashtags:
First of all, search for your niche
keywords –In my case, I would start off with #business,
moving onto smaller ones (less than 1m) that automatically
appear in the “related” section. Check the “top posts” as
well as their likes and comments.
(Quick Note: don’t forget that you need as much
engagement as possible within the first hour!! check the
engagement ratio: If a post was uploaded 2 hours ago and
received 500 likes and 40 comments, whilst you’re able to
get 600 likes and 45 comments within the same time
frame, use them.) Write down a list and use them;
otherwise move towards the next one. Remember to avoid
dead hashtags.

Check the time it was posted:
If you see a hashtag whose top posts are more than a
month ago, it’s a dead hashtag, and I wouldn’t suggest you
to use it.
You can still try and experiment, but I don’t think you’ll
achieve great results.
Only consider the ones which are most active and create a
big list with, at least, 100 hashtags minimum.
Once you have written them down, Split them into 5
different lists and don’t forget to add 2 to 3 huge
niche hashtags as well.
(In my case for example, I would use #business (62
Million posts) and #entrepreneur (62.5 Million posts)
Test the 1st set, then the 2nd set, then the 3rd and so on.
After a while, like 3-4
weeks, you should be able to identify the most performing
lists.
I currently have 5 lists that I always use, and 3 of them
never fail to get me at least 10,000+ impressions per post
just after the first hour of posting!
Dedicate time for research, because that’s what’s going to
make you or break you in this game.

12.VIRAL CONTENT
STRATEGY
This is one of my signature strategies which I’ve always
used to get thousands of followers on Instagram.
If you’re just starting off and want to grow as fast as
possible you should definitely use this strategy.
Come up with a competitor’s list and take a look at what
they’re posting, and check their average likes to
understand whether some of their posts went viral or not.
Let’s suppose that on average they get 4000-6000 likes
and then you find a post with over 20,000 likes.
The huge gap instantly makes us understand that it’s a
viral kind of content that draws a lot of interest.
Next step is to re-create it.
The concept behind it is that, if it worked for them, there
are huge chances that it will work for you as well.
If you’re creative and can add a bit of personal touch, feel
free to do it.
Don’t copy it 100%; make it
yours.

12.VIRAL CONTENT
STRATEGY
This is not “stealing” or “infringement of copyrighting”, it’s
an on-going, worldwide marketing strategy used by 80% of
IG businesses.
This strategy also gives you sort of important information
to understand how to structure your content so that it
appeals to your audience even more and basically forces
them to engage.
I followed this exact strategy with some of my posts and,
instead of adding an infographic, I used Gary Vee’s picture
and it went viral.
I tried it again with another educational post and boom it
was an another viral.
Try it and I can guarantee you extremely satisfying results.

13.[BONUS] GROWTH
EXPLODER STRATEGY
Another strategy that I used to cross the first 1,000
followers milestone is the Growth Exploder Strategy.
I’ve always said it:
In my opinion, the hardest task is to reach 1,000 followers.
After that, you’ll need to put in the work to cross 10,000
followers as well.
But as soon as these 2 milestones are passed, the whole
journey gets way easier. (You still need to put in the effort
every day though!)
With that being said, let’s dive into the strategy.
Firstly, you have to search for the biggest accounts in your
niche which have the most followers.
Follow them and turn on post notifications, doing this will
allow you to be notified as soon as they post.
When they post, head over to their account, like the post
and leave a thoughtful comment on it.
Make sure the comment is long enough without containing
self-promoting content, otherwise you’ll just look like a d***
and the strategy will backfire on you.

EXPLODER STRATEGY
Do this with at least 10 pages every day and you’ll soon
witness that your comments are getting tons of
engagement and organically rising to the top, where
everyone can see it; resulting in more impressions

With your own comment, you should aim to provide value
to whoever reads in one of the two following ways:
- Add
something extra which wasn’t mentioned in the post that
can be highly important for the interested target audience
- Share
your honest opinion and show your personality.

which will bring you incredible results if
done correctly and constantly.

Instagram Stories are another effective yet underrated tool
that you can use daily to boost your page and slowly
creating a strong bond with your followers.
In order to keep your audience interacting and engaging
with you, stories are the perfect tool for it.
Since they’re only available for 24 hours and then
disappear in your “Stories Archive”, people are more likely
to engage with them.
You can upload behind the scenes, personal messages,
questions, quiz, polls and many others.
The only limit is creativity here: feel free to experiment and
test many different formats to see which one your
audience reacts better to.
You can also share other page’s posts that you think will
be helpful for your viewers.

14.[BONUS] EVERYTHING
YOU NEED TO KNOW
ABOUT STORIES & HOW TO
GET THOUSANDS OF STORY
VIEWS.
People really like stories and when it comes to selling,
stories are the way to go.
Being active and uploading daily valuable, relatable stories
is fundamental.
Aim to upload 3 to 5 stories everyday.
Moreover, Here are some tips to increase your story
views:
1. Use location tags to get in front of selected and targeted
groups of people.
2. Use relevant hashtags – you can use up to a maximum
of 11 hashtags in the stories,
but I personally recommend to use less than 5.
3. Use polls, quiz, questions and other features to make
the whole game exciting.

4. Post stories regularly and don’t forget to give value.
5. Tag big pages in your niche while sharing their post,
some of them will re-share your
story and you’ll get views from their audience for FREE.
Quick Note: You can get really clever with stories, you can
literally use stories for any purpose, as long as it doesn’t
show too much.
At the beginning of my Instagram Journey for example, I
needed to come up with my Buyer Persona
or Target Persona.
Since my target follower usually hangs around Instagram a
lot, I thought about using stories in order to get to know
him better so that I ultimately know his desires, pain
points, hobbies, job situation and so on..
This way, I know which kind of content to produce in order
to help him towards his life mission: his/her dreams.

15.WHAT IS THE “SHADOW
BAN” AND WHY IT
HAPPENS (SHADOW BAN
101)
I’ll be honest with you, this has been one of the hardest
chapters to write for me.
If you know me personally, you probably know that it was
something that almost made me quit a long time ago.
When Instagram puts you in shadowban, your organic
reach is automatically decreased to almost 0 and your
posts are hidden and not discoverable through
hashtags and explore page.
A Shadow-ban is the worst thing that can happen to your
account.
Think of it as a punishment from Instagram for not
following community guidelines and rules.

15.WHAT IS THE “SHADOW
BAN” AND WHY IT
HAPPENS (SHADOW BAN

It mainly happens because of:
- Bots
- Automation services
- Third-party apps
- Banned hashtags
- If you
share something that goes against the community
guidelines and someone reports it (Nudes, Violent Content,
etc..)
Avoiding it is a MUST, because if it happens, getting rid of
it will be hard. I’ve not been shadowbanned once, but
twice! Once in September 2019 and second time in
January 2020.
The first shadowban was really hard to get through
because I didn’t know much about it.
After many trials and errors, I finally discovered how to
overcome it and, when it happened again in January, it
wasn’t too bad as the first time.

16.[BONUS] SHADOW BAN
AND HOW TO GET RID OF IT
(SHADOW BAN 201)
In the last chapter we talked about what a shadowban is
and why it happens.
In this chapter, we’re going to talk about the strategy to
use in order to get out of it.
Before getting to that part, though I’ll show you how to find
out whether you’ve been shadowbanned or not.
There are almost no tools that can tell you if you’re
shadowbanned on Instagram, but you can easily find out
by going to the “recent tab” of the small hashtags you used
with your most recent post.
If your post is visible in the recent tab, congratulations!
You’re not shadowbanned, but if you can’t see your post
anywhere, then it means you’ve been punished.
2 weeks is the minimum time required to get rid of the ban.

16.[BONUS] SHADOW BAN
AND HOW TO GET RID OF IT
(SHADOW BAN 201)
In most cases, it lasts for 14 days, but, if you keep
breaking the rules and not stopping completely, time can
significantly increase.
First of all, change your password account and stop using
all the third-party apps you might be using.
-Whether they’re insights app or posting app.-
Second step is to remove ALL hashtags from every single
piece of content posted in the last 7 days.
Last but not least, keep posting without hashtags for the
next few days.
After a few days, start using only 1 or 2 very small
hashtags and engage as normal as you can.
Obviously, don’t use engagement groups and don’t engage
with other posts like crazy; you are shadowbanned so take
it easy.
The more you act normal, the better the algorithm will
forgive you and let you back into the community.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY
So far, we have basically covered the most useful
information about Instagram's growth and the Instagram
algorithm.
Now, in the next few chapters, we’re going to focus about
how to make money on Instagram.

STRATEGY#1: SHOUTOUTS
The first strategy we are going to talk about is selling
shoutouts.
It’s a very simple strategy and the easiest way to make
money on Instagram, but in order to sell shoutouts you
need to build a following first of, at least, 10,000 people.
This is because, usually, the smaller accounts will pay you
to advertise their business on your page in order to gain
followers and, ultimately, sell their products/services.
I personally like to do story shoutouts ONLY, because post
feed shoutouts tend to decrease engagement, yet still
many people do it.
They are definitely more expensive, which means that you
can earn more money, but your audience might not look at
it with a good eye.
Remember that they come to you to seek information, not
to see Ads like on television.

STRATEGY#1: SHOUTOUTS
If you do it once in a while it’s ok, but I personally don’t
suggest to always be doing it.
Same concept applies with Story Shoutouts:
I know it’s easy money, but the more you do it, the more it
will look spammy and turn your audience off.
On top of that, they will most likely stop engaging with your
content which, in the end, damages your pockets.
With this strategy, the more you grow and the more you
get exposed, the more businesses and solo-preneurs will
come to you asking for your rates.
Here is a rough pricing that you can take idea from.

according to the niche. Here I’ve mostly taken into
consideration my niche, Business.-
80% of pages do promote on Instagram, and this is
definitely a very good source of income which can easily
make you 4 figures every month with, basically, 0 effort.

STRATEGY#1: SHOUTOUTS

In order to make people aware of your rates, you can


easily write something captivating in your BIO (e.g.: DM for
promos) or, even more powerful, create its own story
highlight where you can share insights like story views,
engagement rate and so on.
Another great tip is not to promote everything.
Conduct a proper research on the product/service/page
that you’re going to advertise because many people
usually try to sell scammy services.
(it doesn’t always happen, but definitely worth mentioning)
Reputation is in play over here, so keep that in mind.

STRATEGY#2: CONTENT
CREATOR
The second strategy that you can use to make money on
Instagram is to become a content creator.
In the email, I gave you a step-by-step, sure-fire blueprint
on how to create content on Canva.
That’s just how I do it which has always been proven to
work, but I always suggest to find your own style and only
take mine as an inspiration for more (and hopefully better)
design and content ideas.
You can create inforgraphics for other accounts and
charge good money for it; depending on your level of
expertise.
For example, you can charge $0.50/post and create a
motivational quote content for someone, while, for content
like @learn2earnit, you can even charge $1-$2/post.
It takes me around 15-45 minutes to brainstorm and create
a post for @learn2earnit, so you can get an idea of how
much money you can charge as a content creator (the
better you are, the more you can charge).

How to get clients? It’s not as hard as you think.

STRATEGY#2: CONTENT
CREATOR
The rule here is to never stop marketing yourself:
Text 10 people per day who have more than 10,000
followers, start having a conversation with the purpose of
selling your services, don’t do it like a sneaky salesman
would; be genuinely interested and authentic and not
pushy.
Offer to design 5-10 free posts to see if he likes your work,
if he’s satisfied he can continue to work with you for that
price.
A powerful strategy is to create your Online Portfolio, so
that you can gather all your best content and work in order
to promote it in a more professional way.
Once again, use your BIO and/or Story Highlights to show
your experience.
The more professional you are, the more jobs you’ll land.
Before building my network, I used to count on this
technique; it was tough at first but once you get those
people that really need the job you’re an expert at, it just
gets smooth and easier.
As a content creator, you can also offer many other
services like “tip of the day” stories, “turn on post
notifications videos”, story highlights design etc.

STRATEGY#3: MANAGING
OTHER PEOPLE’S ACCOUNT
Another profitable strategy to make money on Instagram is
to manage other people’s accounts.
This strategy is one of my favourites because of the way it
works, even though I never really had proper time to dive
into it.
In order to do this you should show some kind of social
proof and credentials; otherwise businesses won’t even
take you into consideration.
When managing one’s account, you just have to upload
posts and stories on your client’s account.
I don’t recommend this strategy just now if you’re still a
newbie as it requires a lot of experience since you need to
carry lots of responsibilities.
You must know everything about Instagram… how it
works, what are the latest updates and news, what TO DO
and what NOT TO DO, and so on..

STRATEGY#3: MANAGING
OTHER PEOPLE’S ACCOUNT
The price to charge could be somewhere between
150$-500$/monthly for each client, depending on the
services you’re providing to them.
To get your foot in the door, it may be wise to offer a 1-
week free trial to make them trust you and to show them
what you can offer.

STRATEGY#4: AFFILIATE
MARKETING
Affiliate Marketing is another fat money pot.
It’s basically selling other people’s products/services for a
commission, without physically or mentally thinking about
handling the actual product or service since it’s not your
responsibility but the business owner’s.
It’s also one of the easiest ways to start making money
even with as little as 500 followers.
70% of the pages you see online have an affiliate program.
It’s pure passive income, but in order to do that you need a
loyal audience.
The stronger the bond with your audience, the more
money you can potentially make.
The commissions or “pay outs” are usually monthly
recurring payments, which makes this source of income
excellent to re-invest the initial profits and scale your
business like crazy.
To find affiliate marketing products, look for amazon
products, ebay products, shopify products as well as one
of the most famous affiliate marketing’s websites:
clickbank.com.
You can go to clickbank.com and find products in your
niche to sell.

STRATEGY#4: AFFILIATE
MARKETING
Always promote high-quality products and services
otherwise you will break the mutual trust you’ve built with
your followers so far and destroy your reputation.
A great way to make passive income with an affiliate offer
is to create a story highlight for the product with a swipe up
link (which is a special feature that you’ll be able to use
after reaching 10,000 followers).
This way, whenever someone goes through your account,
he will eventually see that story highlight, click on it, swipe
it up and, if the person completes the purchase, you’ll earn
money.
Write it also in your BIO in order to increase impressions
and, potentially, conversion rates.

STRATEGY#5: BUILDING
AN EMAIL LIST
This is one of the most underrated strategies to make
money online.
No matter which niche or sector you’re in, it is essential
to have an email list.
Up to 20 years ago, there used to be mailing lists full of
actual people’s addresses, but nowadays it was replaced
with Email lists.
The best marketers say that 1 email in your email list is
hypothetically worth 1$/month.
If you’ve built an email list of 10,000 people, then you have
an earning potential of 10,000$/month.
In my opinion -and Russell Brunson’s opinion- 1 email is
worth more than 1$/month.
In order to build an email list you definitely need to build a
landing page.
Building a landing page or “squeeze page” or “opt-in page”
is a step you must include in your funnel that allows you
to gather your prospects’s information in exchange for
something valuable, like a PDF, an eBook, a Spreadsheet
and so on.

STRATEGY#5: BUILDING
AN EMAIL LIST
You can use Clickfunnels or any other website builder for
that.

To collect emails you can use Mailchimp as Email


Marketing and Newsletter Platform.
Once you’re set and ready with the list, which always
grows over time, you need to come up with a plan of
action.
What is your goal with an Email Campaign?
Advertising your products/services?
Getting them to join your upcoming webinar?

Another fantastic way to make money on Instagram is to
teach people certain skills through coaching calls.
You must provide incredible value as well as walking them
through every single step necessary in order to gain proper
knowledge and, ultimately, helping them reaching their
goal.
They will trust you and pay you money, that’s why, in
return you have to treat them like your best friend.
Every single doubt, every little detail, everything that will
help your best friend to succeed, is your duty.
I personally make good money with Coaching Calls.
After starting the page, at one point, I was growing at a

them achieve their goal: Trading the financial markets

Getting people to purchase your coaching calls is not too
hard; you must plan it well though.
Don’t promote your services through your posts as you’ll
look too pushy, instead arouse curiosity by writing in the

audience what you can offer them.

Sell in captions, sell in stories as well as story highlights.
For example, if you’re just starting out, share your clients’
results obtained thanks to your guidance and mentorship
through daily stories.
Everything that sparkles a burning desire in your potential
customer is a good go.
If you’ve just started out, you may even consider charging
a little bit less to get customers. In this case, you’ll be able
to build up your reputation as guide or mentor way faster.
Don’t forget about the Word-of-mouth
marketing formula: happy customers will always share
their experience with other friends, relatives,
partners etc. which results in more money coming in for
you!
Once you start getting social proof, upload the testimonials
in your stories as well as story highlights, which will act as

person everything from scratch.
It’s generally a 1-on-1 teaching style and a long
relationship between both.
I’ve seen so many mentorship deals ending up with a
strong business bond between the two parts.
This really creates so
many opportunities both
inside and outside of Instagram.
Because it’s continuous training and
you’re going to invest your time
into it, you can even
charge
thousands of dollars
as long as you have the
proper experience and skills.

STRATEGY#7:
MENTORSHIP
Since this type of service is definitely more expensive
than just coaching calls, what I would suggest
you to do in order to promote it, is to assemble case
studies as well as setting up a good, converting Sales
Page.
Considering that a Mentorship Program is not just a one-
time meeting but a thorough, detailed discovery about the
topic you are teaching them, demonstrating how an online
“boot camp” can change their lives, may be a
good money making strategy as well as a further proof of
your expertise.
You can charge people a fixed rate of, for example, $1000
every month including one coaching call every 3 days, list
of exclusive bonuses, weekly performance re-caps and,
last but not least, an interesting glance at your
personal approach.
Think about it, they are paying and trusting you in
exchange for your valuable knowledge and not only that;
but your experience as well.
Treat him/her like you wanted to be treated when you first
started with your journey.

You were probably full of doubts and confused about
almost everything, like all of us when we start as total
beginners.
Then you went on, kept learning, made mistakes, never
gave up; and then you made it.
Show him your journey and he will always follow you, no
matter what.
Another easy way to promote it is to occasionally offer
special deals and discounts, only valid for a specific
amount of time.

You can also try to “disqualify” them; which is a very


powerful, proven to work Copywriting technique.
Sentences such as “Only read if you are serious about

Another strategy is to use IG Stories.
You could prepare a tailor-made quiz for your followers -
do this by using stories features – aiming to asses them in
order to find out their current level of knowledge and
preparation regarding the topic you teach.
If they pass it, you could congratulate them by giving them
a shoutout (which triggers their emotions, making them
feel special) and then offer them the possibility of being
personally taught by you for a cheap price (maybe not
cheap, just a little bit lower).

STRATEGY#7:
MENTORSHIP
Focus especially on those who didn’t pass the test: you
may want to give them some sort of free trial so that they
can have a short taste of the immense value you provide
so that they will ask you for more afterwards.
Teach what you’re best at and enjoy the process; you’ll
make a lot of money at the same time.
I used to mentor a lot of people and it can get a bit crazy,
especially when you start diving into the important parts of
that topic.
My suggestion is to always keep a notebook (a Word
Document will do as well) updated with everything you did,
do, and will do throughout your mentorship program, as
well as ideas, lessons, specific suggestions, feedbacks
and so on.
If you keep track and organize, you won’t get
overwhelmed.
One last tip is to avoid “time wasters” a.k.a people who are
not serious about their goals; they will just waste your time
and mental energy by making up excuses of how “they
can’t afford it”.
This is the universal rule of life: If you’re not ready to invest
(either financially or time wise) you will never get anything
in return.

comments.
The first thing that you can see here is the title that
includes the word “fuck” which immediately grabs the
reader’s attention.
The title arouses curiosity and naturally catches
everybody’s attention due to his controversial nature.
Get people’s attention and you win.
The second element is Gary Vee’s picture, he’s one of the
biggest influencers in the entrepreneurship and very well
known as a strong character.
Once again, the main focus here was to gain their precious
attention.
Plain colors in the headline as well as attention grabbing
headline, attractive background, recognizable face, simple,
professional and easy-to-read font in the content + a call
to action at the bottom… needless to say it went absolutely
crazy viral.
Controversial posts are proven to go viral, because it
triggers people’s emotions and gets them to engage.
When using “ “ people are naturally more curious to see
what’s written in that specific message.
Have you ever noticed that many Ads both online and
offline often use the “ “ at the beginning and end of a
message in order to grab our
attention? Try it out and you may be
surprised with the results.

This is my second top viral post with over 13,000 likes,


460,000 impressions and around 2,000 comments.
One of the reasons why this post went viral was due to a
debate which casually started in the comment section as
groups of people kept standing for the “no that’s not true,
failing students don’t get rich etc.” kind of thing.
The headline here is very likely to raise interest, as most
people think that they’ll actually become rich only if they
manage to get “A”s in school.
That’s what happened when most people saw the post;
they felt emotionally involved, and this lit up a spark, which
gave room to an open debate between these two social
groups.
Controversial = Viral.
Another good point was, again, Gary Vee’s photo.

Something that really works is when posts are “bullet
pointed”, as psychology says, our brain is more pushed to
take action when we see a “structure”, exactly like in the
post.
–I’m not a psychologist, but I found this concept in many
marketing and copywriting books, I tried it and it works

This one went viral when I had around 5000-7000
followers, which is quite impressive given the poor
engagement I used to have as I had just started

hundreds of thousands of followers in order to stand out.
You just need the right knowledge and experience.
First of all, the headline “Hot industries to make money”
contains 2 important things:
1. Hot industries 2. Make money
Everyone is interested in the latest trends and always
wants to know how to make money.
People want to make money by taking advantage of the
current trend and they want to do it by putting the least
effort possible.

A “Hot Niche” or “Hot Industry” gives you the idea of


something fresh and brand new which is not oversaturated
and, therefore, easier to access.
That’s exactly how this post captured people’s attention
and went viral.
After the headline, I pointed out 8 industries with simple
and attractive vectors to grab their attention. –Do you
remember when I told you about structure?-
Posts similar to this, tend to perform really well as they
awaken some sort of emotions in our brains which push us
