ISO 45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety
management systems, aimed at protecting workers and visitors from
accidents and occupational diseases. ISO 45001 certification was developed
to mitigate any factor that may cause irreparable harm to employees or the
business.
The standard is the result of the effort of a committee of experts in
occupational health and safety who sought an approach towards other
management systems, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
