FOR ALUMINUM (AL1100) SHEETS

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

• The aluminum 1100 is chosen as the study material. This Project aims
to study bending properties of aluminum 1100 material in order to
know which of the following input parameter influence the result of
the material
• By the method of I9orthogonal array we will do ANOVA table to know
the impact of which input parameters has the major contribution
• Our input parameters are thickness of the material(0.8 - 2 mm),
number of global mesh(1-5) , and deformation depth (-20 - -36 mm)
Inference and relevance :

• In order to know which of the following input parameter influence the result of
the material
• So that the material can be choosed accordingly
• Since aluminum is one of the major used material used in every industry and its
important to know its impact parameter
• This concept can be even enlarged by giving structure to the plate and to know
their bending properties

Work to be carried out:

• If we finish it soon, we will continue the same procedure for

which input parameters has the major contribution and if possible
regression

• By end of this project we can able to know the affecting input


parameter and We could able to do a analyzing a material in
Abaqus
• And able to distinguish or compare between any two materials
and able to know their influencing parameters
• And able to select which materials can be situated for the
required conditions
• We would able to know what are the Input parameters which
contribute major impact of the result
