Introduction:
• There is no separate flow meters for each and every block
• Only one flow meter is available for the entire campus
• Water level in the tank is maintained by float mechanism
• Danfoss drive takes care of maintaining water level by regulating the
pressure according to the status of water tank
• But when there is a leakage there won’t be any pressure change
• The drive fails to block the water supply during the leakage
• Water gets wasted unless someone notice it
Objective:
• To replace the existing flow meter with self designed flow sensor
• To install Integrated flow and pressure sensor at low cost
• To digitize the flow measurement
• To detect the leakage/abnormal usage of water
• Small step to make our institute as smart campus
