Section 28. Fines, Damages and Penalties- any
person who commits attitude that is prohibited by
this act shall be fined by the secretary, upon the
recommendation of PAB. Not less than 10,000
nor more than 200,000for every day violations.

• Failure to undertake clean-up operations shall


be punished by imprisonment of not less than
2 years and not more than 4 years and a fine
not less that 50,000 and not to exceed 100,000
• For violations failing under Section
4 of Presidential decree no. 979 or
any regulations prescribed in
pursuance thereof, such person
shall be liable for a fine of not less
than 50,000 nor more than
1,000,000 or by imprisonment of not
less than 1 year nor more than 6
years or both.
