What is Web 2.0 Tools and Web 3.0 tools?
Web 2.0 tools - These tools are internet tools that allow the user to go
beyond just receiving information through the web. The use is expected to
interact and to create content with others. Social media sites such as
Facebook and Twitter are examples of Web 2.0 tools. Web tools can be used
to enhance teaching and collaboration among teachers and students as well as
increase professional collaboration between educators.

Web 3.0 - Web 3.0 is the third generation of internet services


for websites and applications that will focus on using a machine-based
understanding of data to provide a data-driven and Semantic Web. The
ultimate goal of Web 3.0 is to create more intelligent, connected and open
websites.
Differences between Web 2.0 tools and Web 3.0 tools
Web 2.0 makes use of read-write web, web applications,
blogs, viral media, rich media, tagging and Folksonomy
whereas sharing content or focusing on the communities.

Web 3.0 standard makes use of semantic web, widgets, drag


and drop mashups, economy or user behavior, user
engagement, advertisement, focuses on individuals and
consolidates dynamic content.
