IR SOEKARNO
Ir. Soekarno was the first president of the Republic of Indonesia, as
well as the proclaimer of this country. Soekarno ia familiarly called by
the nickname Bung Karno. Bung Karno born in Surabaya, June 16
1901, and died on Jakarta, June 21 1970. Queted from the RRI page,
Soekarno was originally given the name Koesno Sosrodihardjo,
Because he was often sick his name was canged to Soekarno.Soekarno
ia the son of Raden Soekemi Sosrodihardjo and Ida Ayu Noman Rai.
Bung Karno's mother was a Balinese nobleman. Soekarno's parents met
when his father a teacher in Bali.Soekarno's gait continued to the
political field. Then, the proclaimer formulated the teachings of
Marhaenism and established a party called PNI (Indonesian National
Party) on July 4, 1927. The purpose of the founding of this party was to
achieve an independent Indonesia.The Company, which was not happy
with Soekarno's movement, took action so that the Dutch East Indies
government at that time could still stand firmly in their colonies. As a
result, the Dutch threw Sukarno into the Sukamiskin prison in Bandung
on December 29, 1929.Eight months in prison, he had just been tried.
In his defense speech, entitled “Indonesia Meng sues”, he described the
conditions of international politics and the condition of the Indonesian
people under the shackles of colonialism.His defense made the Dutch
even more angry, so that in July 1930, the PNI was dissolved. After his
release in 1931, he joined Partindo and at the same time led it. As a
result, he was again arrested by the Dutch and exiled to Ende, Flores, in
1933. Four years later he was transferred to Bengkulu.Until finally
Soekarno and other heroes succeeded in liberating Indonesia on August
17, 1945. Soekarno acted as the formulator of the text of the
proclamation of Indonesian independence and also the reader of the
text of the proclamation of Indonesian independence.A
