INTRODUCTION
Multifunctional furniture are planned to fulfill various requests at less space. It is
an ideal methodology to advance circumstances.
According to Gentili (2017), by definition, furniture is a group of design items and
pieces that give useful functions for activities of daily life like eating, sleeping and
supporting, serving, and sanitation. While according to Astonkar & Kherde (2015),
furniture is intended to build an easier and more comfortable life for human beings.
Today, many sorts of space-saving furniture items are accessible that can serve
more than one capacity. Multifunctional furniture is an unrest for furniture plan as their
plans don't just make them a brilliant answer for little spaces yet additionally make
them look more satisfying tastefully. It is a way to deal with space supportability that,
simultaneously, serves a wide range of capacities.

Statement of the Problem

This study entitled “MULTIFUNCTIONAL TABLE FOR
SMART SOLUTION IN SAVING SPACES” aims to answer the
following questions:
1. Is it more convenient to use multifunctional table than the
ordinary one?
2. Can this multifunctional table help to save space?
3. Is there any difference between multifunctional table and the
ordinary one in saving spaces?
4. Is it helpful or just a waste of time?

Scope and Limitation

This research focuses on saving spaces specially in
small areas where the table is used. A vital element in
making this multifunctional table is to lessen space
and in making the limited space work efficiently and
its ability to function for multiple activities.

Significance of the Study

The results of this study to be conducted will have significance to the following:

Participants (respondents). To have a better understanding about the usage of

multifunctional table and also if they wanted it too.

Researcher . To have a background research about Multifunctional Table and for

their research to be improved.

Institution. For them to know that Multifunctional Table is a big help in saving
spaces.

Methods and Procedures

Research Design. The researcher use Qualitative Design as a research

design.

Research Participant . 30 Respondents in Disimpit Jones Isabela (at

the age of 20 and above).

Data Gathering Tool. The researcher will use Questionnaire as a tool

for gathering information's.

Methods and Procedures

Methods of Analysis. The methods of analysis use by the researcher is

content analysis wherein it is used to evaluate the content in the
questionnaires answered by the respondents.

Project Development. The researcher will plan to create multifunctional table

that can be used also for other purposes.

Project Development Flow .The researcher will organize, plan. Prepare the
materials needed for constructing the multifunctional table.
