WHAT IS JOB SATISFACTION?

• Job satisfaction is an emotion or attitude towards the job and


environment in the workplace.
• Job satisfaction can be positive or negative regards to the mind-set
and situation that employees have to face in workplace.
• The outcomes of job satisfaction and dissatisfaction among
employees.
DEFINATION OF JOB SATISFACTION

• Job satisfaction is any combination of psychological, physiological and
environmental circumstances that cause a person truthfully to say I am
satisfied with my job.
• Vroom (1964)
• Job satisfaction is the positive orientation of an individual towards all aspects
of work situation.
• Locke (1976)
• Job satisfaction is a pleasurable or positive emotional state resulting from the
appraisal of one’s or job experiences.
JOB SATISFACTION SURVEY (JSS)
• Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) is used to measure the satisfaction of
Malaysia Takaful Association (MTA) employees.
• Survey towards the MTA employees regarding job satisfaction.
CONCLUSION
• The concept of job satisfaction can be defined in various perception regarding
to their own experience.
• It can be positive or negative based on the experience that they face in the
workplace.
• Job satisfaction is an importance issue that can describe towards Malaysia
Takaful Association (MTA) employees.
• Job satisfaction also can affect the outcome of the MTA company likes the
absenteeism, employee turnover, productivity and others outcomes. In this
case study, we have done a survey towards the MTA employees.
• So, to measure this job satisfaction and dissatisfaction we have do the
questionnaire among MTA employees using Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS).
