System of forces which do not lie in a

single plane is called noncoplanar

system of forces
there are 3 sub types of non coplanar
forces
concurrent noncoplanar forces
parrallel noncoplanar forces
nonconcurrent and nonparallel non
coplanar forces
Forces which meet at a point with
their lines of action do not lie in a
plane are called “Concurrent
noncoplanar system of forces”.
The three noncoplanar forces
displayed passes through the origin.
They all acts on the same point, and
forces that acts or meets at a point is
called concurrent forces
If lines of action of all the forces in a system are
parallel and they do not lie in a plane such a system
is called Non-coplanar parallel system of forces.
The system of 4 noncoplanar parallel forces is
displayed in the Figure. Where as F1 acts on the Z
axis, F2 passes through plane xz, F3 passes through
plane xy, and F4 acts on the x axis.
If all the forces are pointing in one direction then
they are called Like parallel forces otherwise they
are called unlike parallel forces
F1 F3 and F4 are like parallel forces while F1 and
F2 are unlike Parallel forces
Forces which do not meet at a point and their lines of
action do not lie in a plane, such forces are called
“Nonconcurrent noncoplanar system of forces”.
The systems of three noncoplanar,
nonconcurrent forces, are shown in the
Figure. The force F1 is in the xy-plane,
F2 is parallel to the y axis, and F3 is in
the xz-plane.
No Force is parallel to the other
making it unparallel forces.
