USE OF LIKE AND DISLIKE
The most common verbs to express these likes and dislikes are love, enjoy,
like and hate. They are used in simple present tense because they are routines
or habitual actions.

Verbs that express preferences, likes and dislikes:


love, enjoy, like and hate
 When you want to express preferences, likes and dislikes, most of the time
we use the simple present tense with the verbs "love", "enjoy", "like" to
express likes and "hate", to express dislikes habitually.
 These verbs are regularly accompanied by two types of words: nouns and
verbs. Let’s see the difference

VERBS

a) A verb in infinitive form. It is used to refer to a particular


NOUNS moment or situation.
•I love to watch this movie,
•I love sport cars •I like to eat this dish, it is delicious

•They hate bananas b) A gerund form. It is used to refer to situations in
